For one. I've noticed that evidently many prosecutors don't look at previous failure to appear cases. I know of one case here i follow that they claimed the defendant had no history of fta. Looking over my states court docket cases, it was very easy to find at least 3 felony fraud and that's where I quit looking out of sheer frustration at the incompetence. :gaah:

The No Bail Law in Oregon is frightening. Literally. It has to be murder before they hold you for the first time you’ve ever been arrested, and if you get held after that, you don’t get held for long.

They seem to do nothing here about staying. Then when they catch up with them, they let them out again. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
