The family said the first investigation by the Port St. Lucie Police Department did not go far enough. Seen a couple of brief things on this one. I'd lean to the bf mostly because his statements and behavior aren't adding up BUT it's hard to say. She apparently was in custody battles with three of her kids' dads. Maybe it bothered one of them when she announced she was in a relationship with this new guy. Hard to say. It may deserve a thread, not that it merits it any more than any other but there is news on it at the moment pretty regularly and it is definitely a whodunit at this point.

No offense to those that live there but WTH is going on in Missouri? This makes me think of the other one, the Rainwater case. Both hint of women held hostage and tortured and of multiple victims. There has been talk since Rainwater of a lot of missing teens/women there, etc. This poor woman was terrified and clearly held. Just the details out are horrible and the hints are there of far worse details of what she suffered. Six women have been found dead in less than three months in secluded, wooded areas in the Portland, Oregon, region, but law enforcement authorities said they have not found any evidence that the cases are linked. The women's bodies were found within 100 miles of each other, the Portland Police Bureau said in a news release over the weekend. Police have not determined whether they were all homicide victims, but they were all under age 40.
