Who killed Kay Wenal? (3 Viewers)

The 48 hours episode is running again. When police searched the house they didn't find any blood except Kay's. No hairs or anything else that would identify someone.

Pieces of a rubber glove were found on the back porch.

A letter with pieces of magazine letters pieced together and glued on to a piece of paper was sent to a newspaper. They turned it over to the police.

Nothing of evidentiary value was found on the letter. An FBI profiler said the letter was a way of throwing the cops off.

It sounds like a hideous investigation, to me.

There was nothing of evidentiary value in the house, on the pieces of rubber gloves, the letter or the box it was sent in, her husband, despite financial reasons, was cleared.

We're looking for a guy who is a perfectionist, knows how to completely leave a crime scene with no evidence, can glue a bunch of letters pasted to a paper send it to a newspaper, and keep everything he's done 100% clean.

It sounds like murder for hire. It seems to the police believe she knew the guy and let him in willingly. It could have been a friend of her husband's.

This seems to be a bunch of incompetent cops who are blindly feeling their way through a case.

If it ever does it's going to be a cop assigned to cold cases. They'll find something that had been glossed over by previous cops.

A show I watched had an interview with a cop. He said there are 100 things that go wrong in a murder. If you can cover 50 of them as the assailant, you're doing better most people.
