Who killed Kay Wenal?

Maybe there was something in her closet that the perp suspected had his DNA on it.

Maybe the perp dressed in women's clothes to make his escape.

I know I am not going to be able to watch it anytime soon. I am barely keeping up, watched both trials, etc. Been a lot and I'm not doing well with life either.

I can quit commenting and lose interest if you like @Cousin Dupree and I still have other things I want to see I have not watched. Also not necessarily a fan of things like facts from shows like 48 Hours, Dateline and so forth.

And timing just isn't great, at least for me. Not sure about others, but I will gladly bow out.

Maybe reading about it would help. I seem to be having problems with my, mostly short time, memory so it's hard to remember.

The Mirror article is very good at explaining the case.

One synopsis of the clues says she left work early and went home sick. If it was a stalker, he could have just fell into a lucky break. While watching the house, he happened to see her come home. This may not have been the original plan.

Most of what I've seen or read says she was home sick. Making it sound like she called in.

It's 45 minutes. Can't people watch it?
For the record, I'd watched it before I commented. I think I was just confused that they said nothing was missing yet obviously, the perp went to that closet to do something for some for some reason...
Could it actually have been to change clothes?

If that happened, you'd think there would have been a lot of evidence that happened.

So hubby died within a couple of years. Have I got that right?

I read this which summarised 48 hours. She let the person in but I do not know how the heck they knew that. Husband was not as wealthy as he would have people think so i am wondering if there was life insurance. He also never cleaned the blood off the walls. Am thinking it was hubby. There was a letter but again i think that could have been him too.

Thank you. I much appreciate it! That took me maybe 10 to 15 minutes rather than 45. You certainly did not have to do it, and back in the day I provided a lot to people, but without going into it, I just can't do such now sometimes. I suppose suicide was ruled out as no weapon found an appeared she was punched, head into wall or some such. Sounds like most found there but bloody towel found in master, kind of odd. the video may have more but at least I have basics now.

Just a worthless remark, that kitchen doesn't look like any millionaire's luxury life but I guess it was also back in the day.

She never had any kids with anyone or were they raised?

I didn't see anything in the articles to hint they were looking for something so that must come from the video. An much they did not take that would be of value.

Was the hub ever looked at and what did he die from just a couple of years later?

Hub's companies faced a number of lawsuits.

You don't have to answer all, I'm just putting thoughts down while fresh.

The other thing that stands out is the sister said she'd really let you know or have it if she thought you wrong. She may have been nicer than heck other than that but she said that more than once and what does that mean? A person like that can really be irritating (not saying she was) or she could have threatened to turn someone in or who knows over something. It sounds a bit know it all or judgmental. Don't like saying that about a victim, but only say it in the sense of who could have angered to this extent.

The CBS article upthread says that a finger from a latex glove was found at the scene and it wasn't from first responders.

Couldnt they get a fingeprint from it?

I too instantly wondered about life insurance. I also don't know how the heck the knew she was reading a book. The perp would have to tell them that. She could have been on the toilet or getting a drink. Makes no sense assumptions like that.

That doesn't look to me like that wealthy of a house, for sure not nowadays yet news says they traveled and lived a luxurious lifestyle but then we hear about lawsuits. I lean towards looking more in that direction. Probably most of what they know about that day or her being home comes from him, it sure does not come from her. The letter also could have been an outright prank, or him.

I'm not sold yet but it's where my first leaning is going.
