I watched both above videos last night so thought I would share

Yes, but IF he is the one like in SC, he was in the woods on trails freaking people out, on the road or highway trying to get them by fake ruses, and in NY he did escorts, etc. SOOO I mean we don't know all but what we do know is he changed his MO many a time if he was the one in SC and so on.... He changed it in NY... He followed profilers...

To me anyone with a brain when an SK is profiled, and that news comes out, why would you keep doing the same thing if you are the SK....?

Don't get me wrong, I find profiling fascinating and watch such, but if the SK, they like to think--many of them--they are smarter than the cops and so on--so why wouldn't you change up your ways?

PLUS they learn. Like his manifesto or whatever it was, planning document, to go for smaller women, guessing he had trouble with one whether her fighting back or getting the victim disposed of...

If any profiling is true, isn't it said every SK wants to outdo all the others or be as famous/notorious?

In this post where you mention smaller is better, well Cherries Doe who I mentioned a few pages back was a bigger girl, dismembered and found in a suitcase IIRC not terribly far from Tanya but on the shoreline def in Nassau County..... could she be a CB victim and possibly learned there that smaller petite women were easier, hence this woman's bigger size?

To me, it's Sandra Costilla's case that seems to stand out the most from others he's charged with but then again, at this point, it's also the earliest case he's charged with...

I've always thought CB did that to Sandra Costilla.... I think he is soley responsible for all of themmm..another thing that gets me is the 2 girls Bittrolff was convicted for..... in Manorville..... IF Bittrolff did NOT do it then CB definitely did.... I found out that they used the Y-STR dna technique in Bittrolff's case first finding his brother then once comparing his DNA getting what i THINK i read was a full profile.... if it's not a full profile could it be possible that CB and Bittrolff are related through their dads?? Wild theory i know but I started wondering that last night while watching some stuff on these cases

Yes i think he bought a burner phone with a credit card. That's how they knew the details of that burner phone as they could trace the purchase back to the shop. He was certainly not some mastermind and i don't know how they did not get him years ago. I mean, calling the victims families with their own phone should have led to a speedy arrest, not decades. The vehicle details being buried for years too, all leads to inside help IMO.

I blame Burke and Spota for not solving sooner..... The Gilgo taskforce had more done in 4-6 weeks than they all did 12-13 years prior.... they just didn't care

I always thought Peter Hackett was a WHACK JOB and for whatever reason inserted himself into the investigation by calling Shannan's mom, Mari and blatantly lying to her.... She could have sued him..... I think he's honestly just a lunatic but really had no connection to the case

So just bringing this list forward again. So if CB stopped killing in LI , was it around 2012? After Shannon Gilbert was found and Burke and Spota had been jailed.

I personally have no proof or theory yet but I don't really think he stopped

Completely agree and that's what the article upthread says. Once they were off the case and others were brought in, it was solved.

that's what I wonder other states, other counties.... and /OR just more on the beach in a different stretch..... or all 3?? I know no more bodies have been found (I'd be afraid to search after the other searches.... one body leads to another 10) But I haven't sat down yet and looked at how many more women are missing from 1990(ish) to say 2022-2023 that are just missing never found

I think LE know more about the cop and the woman who visited with Karen Vergata than they are disclosing right now. It says upthread that they held off giving out the identification of Karen until after CB was arrested. So I think it likely they know more about Cherries, Asian Doe and Gilbert too perhaps but are just not releasing more for now.

She did sue him but i don't know what happened to that private prosecution - he sold his house and moved to Florida and she was tragically killed by her other daughter.

No but he clearly knew somehow that he could get away with it. He had a cop bring his hooker girlfriend +1 (Vergata) so we know there is an LE link somewhere.

I'm hoping Asian doe is ID'd next.... Othram is who is working on it and they snuck in a comment to grizzly's x post saying something to the effect of it not being much longer or just a matter of time but they have said and Tierney has too that FBI and Othram are who is working to ID him so I sure hope it's soon

even when someone isn't ID'd and evidence is found AND said killer is alive they can be charged

Last killing was 2011 AFAIK. So CB stopped, as it was a new LE regime in charge from 2012 on, after the Loeb incident.

I hadn't but I did go back and read the link and I still say "And?" lol

And no one we know of was killed in 2011. Remains continued to be discovered along Ocean PKWY in 2011 but none of those victims were killed on 2011.
