D4VD starts oh not sure but around 17:30 minutes in or thereabouts. Reiner is after it. Geragos is on, not a fan of his, but what he has to say here is interesting.
First of all D4VD, there has been a grand jury in session and it seems they are hearing from many a witness and it is thought it will continue at least to FEBRUARY and has been going on already for a bit.
Geragos said a grand jury is very unusual. He said the autopsy results in Reiner being sealed is also unusual. He is talking of there being problems the past six month, and in both cases it seems, between the LAPD and their medical examiner... It's pretty interesting and would seem indicative to me that one party or the other is trying to hide something here or do the other party in... And in two "famous" big name cases, imagine that.
I'd recommend taking a listen. I'm not quite through with it yet but am getting there.

Some of interest, this is not the usual sealing of death reports NOR the usual reasons. Of course there would be special treatment here right...?
They probably don’t want it totally dissected all over social media before the trial comes out. We’ll find out at trial.

No, it doesn't sound like it will be that long. Sounds like the reasoning is pending inestigation or some such. I need to look at it again but it wasn't typical sealing and the atty. guest had never heard of such a reason or one being used before. And it wasn't called "sealing" either, it was something else. Maybe, I'll relook later.

WHOA. I'm seeing in the chat on Richins that in this one Jackson stepped down and Nick supposedly now has a public defender. I also saw supposedly the family will be issuing a statement. This is all coming from chat so I haven't verified but it is from people who were following that.
The RIchins thing is dull anyhow, all expert argument stuff and I will just wait for a recap on that and go look to see if Reiner stuff is out.

Fox reporting Jackson did step down. Nick now has a public defender. Arraignment pushed off to February 23. Nick showed in shaved head and jumpsuit. This is all now coming from Fox.

I guess this news was breaking with TMZ this morning ahead of the hearing. Now we KNOW Jackson was their leak. Well I guess TMZ's source will no longer be able to give them anything. Gee that's too bad lol.

I just caught up with this on Law and crime. I wonder if the circumstances beyond Jackson’s control is the fact that the family isn’t willing to use trust money to pay for the defense.
What was really disturbing is that reports are saying that Nick was joking around with deputies and didn’t seem to have much of a care in the world.

LOL I just finished that maybe 10 minutes ago too. I had already seen it all earlier today from watching after the hearing outside the courthouse, etc. but I did not know about the giggling.
I think it is definitely $$. Because I don't think L & C said it but it was aid the public defenders are going to be representing him for the long haul. IF the family was still willing to pay and it was something else, they'd have hired another private attorney.
Let's hope they are REALIZING they don't want to do it for him and I'm sorry but make the same mistakes their parents may have which was helping him no matter what and enabling imo.
And Jackson was clearly the TMZ leak imo as they supposedly reported Jackson was leaving before there was even court, early this morning. The show I watched live, can't even remember which, said that and said to doubters about TMZ, see? Their info was RIGHT. Jackson stepped down everyone found out for sure later.
It was TMZ that started imo the sympathy for Nick thing, the schizophrenia came from there and more. That was Jackson giving them info he WANTED said.
