"bad representation"? A lot of public defenders are bad yes. If they were out of funds he wouldn't have representation. That never happens. They are entitled to one. In our state also, they have attys that are called to act as one if the public defender office is overwhelmed, etc. They are in that role then. It is still a public defender, under that umbrella.No there isn't. Every government entity runs off of a budget. Every. Single. One.
While a poor person that qualifies and funding is exhausted, they will get very bad representation that they would not deserve.
It would be a 100% waste of funding giving it to anybody that could afford to pay for an attorney. It would be like a person that had 100k in the bank but they technically qualify for food stamps because their actual income is low.

NO ONE has ever said he has one red cent to his own name which entitles him to one as much as anyone else. The family can't be made to pay for his defense and their assets do not matter.
Show me where someone who couldn't afford an attorney and the state was broke in that fund where the person had NO attorney? A link?

There was allegedly one sibling who would not come near him, did not want to be around him. That doesn't sound like love.
Doubtful they are all on the same page.
They probably do want him to get help but that doesn't mean they want him free and it does not mean they have forgiven the murders either. Those are all different things.

True. That's something I've said to people in my life more than once. I love you but I don't like you very much right now. Or I love you but that doesn't mean I have to like your actions or behavior.
Whether this person or that person would help him out financially after doing this to their parents or whether they forgive him for this or even can at this point is also hard to say.

I think so too. All this obvious push to make it that he was just out of his mind is kind of nullified by these things. He's calm, he's fine, etc.
I hope he rots in prison.

I think even more so from the video tape that not only was he acting fine after the death but before so as well.
I just realized this morning that this means Michelle was alive when Romy left the house after finding Rob. She probably didn't know of course as it is reported she only saw her dad. That would be a rough thing to live with though I'd imagine, the thought that you maybe could have helped your mother. Doubtful she could have but I know that would prey on my mind.
One has to wonder who is leaking these things, and another video tape too. It's doubtful it is Jackson as they don't benefit Nick at all and he is off the case. Supposedly.

I found it strange anyway in the first place that she never checked on or looked for Michelle before calling LE or looked for Nick either. She must have just been freaked out.
Maybe it is Jackson doing the leaking. Perhaps he doesn't want anyone else to get him off?

Yeah, I don't know. If you were shocked by the scene and maybe worried an intruder could still be present, I guess I could see running out to where the person who came with you is and calling for help. Hard to say. I think though I'd definitely be looking for my mother in a panic so I mostly agree... Probably screaming as I went if I could scream... I just don't know... Most of what we have heard is from "sources close to family" so do we know that's exactly what happened? Doubtful we will know some things for sure until trial. I'd think you'd have your phone on you and either immediately rush to see if there was any help for your father while trying to call and/or looking for your mom?
I try not to say what I'd do in the shoes of others but I'd think I'd have to find my mom too. However, there was one sibling allegedly that would not be around Nick, was scared of him and so on, and perhaps that was her and she was worried he was in the home. I just don't know...
I'd have to say though in guessing I think my instinct to find my other parent in such a situation would kick in. My best guess anyhow.

A couple of new tidbits in this, at least to me. I wish TMZ would stop pushing a helping narrative for Nick. Video both before and after these murders show him acting under control and fine.
He did say Nick was on meth.
Says they did have separate rooms and were in separate rooms so he thinks... That these murders were extremely brutal and that some in the coroner's office can't even take looking at pictures of the bodies. Said the Reiners were both awake when this happened... We kind of already had figured out the couple apparently had separate bedrooms. More in this less than 5 minute video.
