JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

• April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
• December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
• February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
• February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
• June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
• July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
• August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
• September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
• September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
• September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
• September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
• October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
• October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
• October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
• October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
• Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
• November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
• November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
• December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
• December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
• December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
• January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
• January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

Probably because her and Alex are both dead. Lori and Chad were found guilty on more serious charges of murder?

Maybe, and she and Chad were found guilty of actually murdering Tammy anyway, but it is strange they didn't prosecute for that attempt too. I think it was after the Brandon attempt.

Had to be Lori, as she helped take the back seat and tyre out and put it back in so they had the keys to be able to do that. Who gave Brandon's new address to Alex, is what i want to know and how will they prove that unless they implicate Melani too, who hasn't been charged?

Re today, I think opening statements start in about 1.5 hours but with the half hour delay we should get to see/read stuff in about 2 hours from now.

Had to be Lori, as she helped take the back seat and tyre out and put it back in so they had the keys to be able to do that. Who gave Brandon's new address to Alex, is what i want to know and how will they prove that unless they implicate Melani too, who hasn't been charged?

None of us like it, they either feel they don't have enough or they will file against them later. At least the public has heard such and Mel can hide her guilty face somewhere again now. Chad's already in prison, but Mel has got off WAY too easy.

He supposedly had the file so she didn't have what she needed. I'm just catching up so you probably already have that answer but in case you don't. She's so full of bull, she should have been prepared, she's had weeks. I dont know if I've ever seen direct split from cross examination. She did start to say something when Brandon was being called but the judge ignored her as it wasnt her turn to speak as Brandon was called.

She managed fine all day yet had to make a deal about getting meds to bring with her after the day was over.

She and Alex, all of them were such bumbleheads. They are so evil but STUPID. When the P in openings laid out what they have, Lori is clearly tied in and Alex clearly did this. All sorts of evidence if they show all they say they are going to and they will.

No they aren't evidence but true attys try to lay down what they can show. Lori's opening was a joke. She was trying to testify again without taking the stand and argue the case and law.

There is an email from Mel P/B asking the address, sorry I meant text. They laid the ground work that almost no one knew of his address. She is the one with the relationship with Alex and Lori and a divorce and issues. She ran off to be with them and then asked him to take the kids. There has been a ton already showing it was very likely her that gave them the address, not just openings. They've put so much in about her, I am hoping she may be charged later. There's more but can't name it all right now. Oh she knew his schedule. The smallest child she watched so he dropped the child at a park and lt her run to mom (Mel), she didn't want to "meet" him. He saw the child made it and was safe. The only thing that threw off the plan a bit is she could not know he was going to the gym before going home so Alex probably waited longer than he had hoped to.

Treena is getting Chad in their on occasion too but not as much as Mel probably. At least they are being shown for what they are.

Melanie totally set Brandon up. It's pretty obvious. And she was clearly part of the bunch, they all moved apts. in the same complex in ID.

And that's just day one.

Lori went on about her being the only one charged. She's actually right, most of us don't like the others aren't charged either, but she's ringleader and they have the evidence. Alex is dead. Etc.

I know, you are great about that. I thought about it but I saw first if I could get through all the actual testimony. Nate is great with the Tweets if I can't but since I caught up with testimony that would have been added time for what I already had watched myself. I mean he's just covering what is going on in the courtroom but I did manage to see all. There may be days I will have to do it that way, not sure.

This trial isn't going to be as long unless L delays it somehow. P should likely rest next week. If L puts up no witnesses or doesn't delay P witnesses and such, this should go to verdict maybe even be end of next week if not sooner. Depends on whether she puts on a defense, etc.

I noticed that the prosecution objected to a lot of Lori‘s opening statement this time. Seems like at the last trial she gave her some leeway, but not this time.

Treena did object a lot. I do think this one perhaps she was way of lane more, not sure. Lori should know by now might be part of it otherwise.

This whole sickness thing. I think one of the most disgusting things yesterday is Lori at the end wanting a schedule for today of what witnesses and Treena was like she did not know, she has to move everyone around now because Brandon did not get finished, things did not go as they should, she'd already been informing witnesses due tot Lori's claimed illness and so on and they had already had to be put out or change days how many times. Then Lori WHINED about how could she prepare if she did not know the witnesses for today? Totally disgusting as SHE CAUSED IT ALL. Not only that, she should be prepared for all witnesses by now anyhow.

God they are going to be glad to be rid of her.

If she did, she didn't keep up her end imo. Was it Lori's trial that she purposely made it where she couldn't testify and she refused to or some such, but she was watching the trial when told NOT TO. She is maybe cattier I swear than even Lori and did such things intentionally imo. I'd say she did not fulfill her end if there was an agreement. I think she did testify in Chad's but she did not in Lori's yet was supposed to. Her hub did.

Didn't she and her new hub marry the same weekend in Vegas as Alex and Zulema?

I don't know if I ever heard of a deal with Mel P/B but again if there is one, not sure she fulfilled it.

They married the same time and trip yes.
