30-year-old Ha'iku resident Hannah Kobayashi was reportedly last seen at the Los Angeles International Airport nearly a week ago.

Loved ones of Ha'iku resident Hannah Kobayashi are trying tirelessly to find her after she reportedly disappeared while traveling to the mainland.

"We're just trying to not be paralyzed, in a way, not think of the worst," Kobayashi's aunt Larie Pidgeon said.

The 30-year-old was reportedly last seen at the Los Angeles International Airport nearly a week ago.

Pidgeon said Kobayashi had a layover in Los Angeles last Friday on her way to New York for a concert and a photography job, as well as to visit Pidgeon’s sister.

A friend of Kobayashi’s just so happened to be traveling on the same flights as her, Pidgeon added, and last saw her at LAX.

But then Kobayashi missed the flight to New York, which was one of the last of the night.

"That's when everything started getting fuzzy and we're starting to lose contact with her," Pidgeon explained.

A screenshot of messages Pidgeon said Kobayashi sent to the aunt in New York mentioned, "I just finished a very intense spiritual awakening."

Another text apologized for "craziness," adding afterward "was definitely intercepted."

According to Pidgeon, Kobayashi's last text was sent on the same day to her roommate, in which she mentions feeling scared, and that someone might be trying to steal her money and identity.

Since then, relatives have been having trouble getting in touch with her, and her phone appears to be unreachable.

"It (Kobayashi's phone) was pinging in the LAX airport and it no longer... it goes straight to voicemail," Pidgeon said.

"It didn't move from LAX airport so that is where we know that she last was."

She claims she was ripped off, by scammers. she didn't report it because she would have had to tell the cops that she was involved in a green card scam. That's a crime. I hope they are looking into it more.

Okay, that's kind of my point too, that she herself was doing something that was a crime imo anyhow. I think they've probably looked into and know more than we do. I mean they found her and talked to her, etc. Perhaps talked her into coming back, hard to say. I haven't read every link but have looked at a fair amount on this.

It isn't as if she just gave up either. She planned a trip, a pricey one, and then bailed on it, probably intended to from the start. There's a lot unknown yet. She is also very likely "technically" married still. Crazy sh*t imo.

And as you say she didn't report it, and most likely because what she was doing was not legal either. Not real sure how that all plays into escaping into a Tiajuana trip, and partying but I of course may have missed some, don't think much though. There's quite a bit unknown and yes they have acted like "case closed" too. Or at least news said so.

Frank is being a royal pain and will be lucky if he doesn't roll off the table. Hands full of the toddler cat. By the way, found out Mel is okay, maybe others knew that but I sure didn't. That was a relief, I was really worried. I did not hear from her but someone did. She may though have answered on my other phone, I haven't checked it recently. Maybe you knew but letting you know if not.

Not sure how they cannot provide more answers on this case because imo they are needed. I guess we will see. Or not.

I will say her just falling for such a thing well... Kind of speaks for itself...

Rings a bell. Hard to say what she told them either. Meaning did she say she just wanted a few days away, was leaving for good and staying in MX or what? Do we know, I don't think we do, but then I haven't read every single thing. About the green card marriage?

They said case closed but I guess that can mean yeah, she's no longer missing so I guess that case is closed in that sense.

OMG. Not sure I can find words. First of all, I am quitting calling her a kid, she is a 30 year old FULL GROWN WOMAN. Paid $15K?

I did read your link, it is still not imo really clear why she did not continue to NY which was a dumb and juvenile plan to begin with for pics, etc. of landmarks for green card marriages, IMO anyhow, nor about her dead father, but pretty clear about them ALL scamming or intending to.
