I have not read through this thread just yet but I watched the Netflix series on him and the whole thing was just insane I do believe he killed a few people but the whole 300 people 600 people 260 people whatever number you want to put on it is ridiculous and I actually felt sorry for him because he was obviously really never loved throughout his life and clearly had some brain damage maybe some mild retardation was basically not all there did not get proper attention and then all of a sudden he can walk freely around a jail Texas rangers in the sheriff befriend him basically and of course he was loving all the attention he was not raised properly but my mind was truly blown after watching the docuseries on Netflix because the police basically manipulated him and I am pro law enforcement I know that's not something that happens everyday.... I watched that too. By them feeding him information so much damage was done. A milkshake per confession. All the families not knowing. At least 20 cases attributed to other perpetrators. But still are not investigating others. What they did to the "Lemon" family was unforgivable.
And that's what kills me is not just that I felt sorry for him and it was a milkshake per confession but a lot of the members here know that I survived homicide victims and one of them I know who did it long story short there's never going to be a trial there's never going to be a conviction and it kills me. For any family or any survivor to go through the turmoil of being told that someone confessed and they didn't really do it rips open a wound that doesn't heal in the first place

having it in the history of having experienced it or something similar is what brings a lot of us here no need to be sorry just one of life's experiences that I've had to handle in my lifetime. But yes being angry for them sad for them a whole mix of emotions for these families is definitely what I feel. and on the law enforcement ended is not okay for them to feed someone with deficiencies information knowing they'll just confess and confess and confess and confess when they shouldn't be
It truly is a wound that just never heals. Someone could get the death penalty and actually be executed but it doesn't make it any better you're still without that person you loved whose life was stolen at the hands of a monster

Yes. I knew about that. And the photos they are still trying to identify the Women and girls. They have identified some as being alive. A few deceased. I believe the one they are referring to he had a picture in his possession of her on a motorcycle. She was in a yellow blouse. Shoulder length brown hair and was 5 Mths pregnant.
