Two young women, a teenager, and a child all disappearing from Rawlins, Wyoming in the summer of 1974 is NOT a coincidence. Collectively they are known as The Rawlins Rodeo Murders. The link below is Part 1. I will post a link to part 2 later, it is about 5:30 a.m. in Wyoming right now.

We have threads on Deborah Meyer and Carlene Brown. They have never been found.
Briefly, Carlene Brown and her friend Christy Gross, both 19, both disappeared over the 4th of July weekend in 1974, from the Little Britches Rodeo at the Carbon County fairgrounds in Carbon County. They were visiting the rodeo from South Dakota. Christy's remains were found 9 years later, 3 miles from the town of Sinclair.
15 year old Deborah Meyer disappeared on her way to a movie theatre in downtown Rawlins on Aug. 4, 1974. Originally from Red Lodge, MT. she had been visiting her aunt who lived in Rawlins.
10 year old Jaylene Banker disappeared from the Carbon County Fair on Aug. 23, 1974, after becoming separated from her friends at the fairgrounds. Her family lived less than 5 blocks from the fairgrounds. Her remains were found in April 1975 in a field near gravel pits about 2 miles from town, in an area that had been previously searched.
I sincerely hope that LE is looking into serial killers Charlene Adell (Williams) Gallego and Gerald Gallego. They kidnapped at least 10 girls from county fairs/fairgrounds, kept them as sex slaves, and then killed their victims. Gerald died in prison. Charlene turned state's evidence against him, served a prison term, and now lives under an assumed name in CA. (BBM) They are strongly believed to be responsible for the disappearance/murder of teen Sandra Kay Butler, who disappeared in 1978 while on her way to the Reno Rodeo in Sparks/Reno NV. The Gallegos were in the area at the time of Sandra's disappearance, although it took decades for LE to connect them to her disappearance. The Rawlins victims fit their mode of operations.
