Never heard of any recently.So this dude would buy a lot of stuff and then never pay for it. He bought a vault on credit and had it installed before the room it was going to be in was built. He never paid for it, and the company that sold it said they'd repossess it. Holmes told them to come and get it, but if they damaged his house at all, he'd sue them for a lot of money.
He sold a lot of real human skeletons, that were victims of his killing, to medical schools. It's odd that nobody wondered how he got so many skeletons to sell.
It seems he never paid anybody for almost anything. He had a lot of money because he scammed insurance companies and people.
Some psychos still do that today.
