Clinton Brink, 43, and wife Cristen, 41, were found dead on a walking trail at Devil’s Den State Park in northwestern Arkansas.

Police are now searching for a White male with a medium build, who was seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark pants, a dark ballcap, sunglasses and fingerless gloves. He was also carrying a black backpack, police said.

The suspect was also seen driving toward a park exit in a black, four-door sedan – possibly a Mazda with tape covering the license plate. The vehicle may have been traveling on State Route 170 or 220, police said.

So, inappropriate behavior with little girls isn't enough to file a complaint and have his license revoked?

SMH
Typical cases of reactive instead of proactive. Proactive would be to yank his license so at least he couldn't be accused of such behavior as a teacher again. This was he could just claim he quit and Arkansas is one of those states that is so very short on teachers that they make bad decisions in hiring, just because the person is qualified to do the job and fill an empty seat. They might not even ask those important questions that we would assume they ask so they could claim plausible deniability.

WEST FORK, Ark. —
Andrew James McGann admitted to police that he killed Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, on a hiking trail at Devil's Den, Col. Mike Hagar with the Arkansas State Police said Thursday.

McGann was arrested and booked into the Washington County Detention Center. DNA taken from him matched DNA from the scene, authorities announced in a news conference.

"It appears to be a completely random event," Hagar said.

They believe McGann attacked the Brinks while they were hiking with their daughters, 7 and 9.

The girls found their way to another hiker, who got the girls off the trail, then hiked to find the girls' parents. When the hiker found the two bodies, they hiked back off the trail to get cell service and called the police.

That makes much more sense on how the girls got to safety. It sounds like the story I saw was a blend of things that did happen but not verifying facts and assuming. It sounds like they assumed the hiker that helped was the mom.

ABC World News is currently reporting the street that the mom is the one that got them to safety and the girls are the ones that provided the description. Shrug

That isn't what I read that info on, but the exact same thing I read on a new story.

So if he has admitted guilt does that mean an automatic guilty court plea? Doesn't really explain his motive at the moment though.

If it was the mum that got them to safety then she would be alive, so I cannot see ABC being correct.

It is also what was said the other day that she got them to safety and then went back to check on her husband and that's when she was killed. That would not keep her alive if she went back like they are stating. They got that info from somewhere. It was not ABC that I read it on a few days ago.

Still not the one I read, but here are more saying the same thing

and there are many more
