POLK COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — An Amber Alert has been issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (NCDPS) for a missing 11-year-old girl from Polk County.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says Allison Paige Henderson was reported missing from Green Creek, NC early Saturday, Oct. 2. NCDPS says officials believe Allison may have been abducted by her uncle, 38-year-old David Neil Henderson, who is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with blonde/brown hair and blue eyes. NCDPS described David as a "violent offender."
