If they weren't talking about crime scenes and bringing in search dogs, I'd be way more optimistic that that's the case.
Also I feel like they'd be putting out more information such as "If you have the baby just come forward, no charges will be filed" etc.
But I also hope that's the case.
True. It reminds me of the one where they have not found the baby girl. can't think of name off hand. Arrested guy, he also shot I think the mom before taking the baby... The searched the areas too... To date, there is no answer in that one.

I did not realize until I just read this again that the dad was located... That's not good, so no baby? He either placed the baby with someone or this is not good...
Yea.. they arrested him on unrelated charges. "Burglary of a habitation with the intention of a sexual offense." That speaks volumes about his character if convicted. I'm wondering, could they offer him a deal in this case if he offers information that leads to the discovery of the infant?
I am unsure because they are separate cases.

I read that but did not pick up on that was the current charge? For some reason, I thought it was prior. I guess I just assumed wrongly that he was arrested on kidnapping or some such. I need to go take another look.

Maybe they will use that pressure for a deal. However, if he killed the infant, he probably won't give them info if he knows what they find will let them charge him with murder?

Maybe the mugshots I posted were confusing...I'm pretty sure those are old mugshots from prior arrest.
I posted them so we could see what he looks like 😉

No, I am sure it is probably me, not you, lol. I missed the fact he was even found and arrested... My focus has not been ideal. :)

Most of this is a repeat of other information but it is dated today and current. Why is it the mother is not mentioned, meaning I guess was this baby taken from the mother or could he have been taken from a foster parent or care or other relative or some such? It does confirm it is reported as an "abduction". I guess it is possible at 5 weeks there was a custody order... The courts in general seem so delayed these days though generally with Covid and all.

Still praying.

It's another one of those cases where when there's such little information and it makes my mind go to the absolute worst case scenario. I pray I'm wrong.

AMBER Alert: Missing newborn’s mom allegedly flees town while jailed father claims he gave the baby to her [Report]

Deandre Argumon remains behind bars on unrelated charges. He not currently charged with kidnapping and claimed that he gave Armaidre to the baby’s mother.

“He said he gave the baby to [the infant’s mother], and she’s nowhere to be found. She left town for whatever reason,” she said. “They’re stories are back-to-back. He pointed the finger. We can’t deal with them, so we gotta figure out where this baby is.”

Authorities have not yet confirmed or denied the validity of Jakeiah Argumon’s statements about the child’s mother. Officials do, however, believe Armaidre is in immediate danger.

Holding a press conference is not usually done to deliver good news.
