It's actually 5 years old. Their 5th anniversary was later this month, or would have been sadly. My mind is wondering why just the wedding video is shown?. It was made by the husband of Spencer's sister and it is 4 years old now. What about any recent photos or videos?
Well here is more on that 911 call, the transcript. Sounds like Fox News originally found it. From back in April so some months before these murders. Banfield said the woman was crying so I'm wondering if there is a recording somewhere.
It must have been a 911 hangup call and the dispatacher called back to see if all was okay and why she had called in the first place when she said all was okay. She said she and him had been arguing. Denies it getting physical but is crying and I find her answers very short for the most part which would lead me to believe the partner was right there. She never gave her name but arguably it was Monique, came from their home. I think instead of calling off officers headed there, they should have went and made sure all was okay myself... But I guess that could exacerbate things too and if she was just going to deny things... IF it got physical.
All was not perfect apparently. There is the possibility friends or family may have never known about this. To be fair, it could have been just one isolated incident and maybe he was just extremely angry and she was scared... But one has to wonder.
Usually a hangup like that means the "abuser" has come in the room or ended the call for her angrily...
Food for thought anyhow, and documented.
It brought my thoughts back to murder/suicide maybe but there is allegedly no gun... So it doesn't work. It does lead me to wonder about the husband though and his life perhaps...

She kind of turns me off these days. On occasion. Mostly I guess she's okay. There are others I like better. She regurgitates a lot of the same things more than once puts them out like they are new, etc. but that's probably the station too.I like Ashleigh. I remember her from CourtTV before they ruined it with TruTV.
Exactly. No one does. I called LE recently and it was for a big enough deal but I didn't classify it as important as like a crime so I looked up the nonemergency number and called that instead. I didn't want to take up 911 time from something more important. SO yeah, you don't call 911 for no reason.Yeah. You don't call 911 for no reason.
Well sure, even children have called it accidentally or as a prank. And some think every little thing in their life is an emergency. Add in if you are not home and don't have a nonemergency number handy, or don't have it for the area you might be traveling in or through, people probably call that at times too.Except people do. Obviously not in this case, but if you search for statistics on how many 911 calls are actual emergencies... Most estimates are that 15% anywhere up to 40% of all calls to 911 are NON emergencies.
I never heard the recording, just saw and heard the transcript. Someone in chat did say that the BIl said it wasn't her but that wasn't confirmed, that I knew of, the call was on news. The chat comment said a woman at a party he said and this confirms that.![]()

Relative Says Crying Woman Who Made 'Domestic Dispute' 911 Call '100%' Wasn't Ohio Dentist's Wife
A "domestic dispute" 911 call traced to Monique and Spencer Tepe's home months before the couple's slayings was not made by Monique, a relative says.
Rob Misleh, Monique's brother-in-law, has responded to reports of the April 911 call released this week where a woman is heard crying over a "domestic dispute."
"I one hundred percent know that is not Monique's voice," Misleh tells PEOPLE, adding that the voice did not sound like anyone else he knew either.
"Whatever FOX News showed, I think it just maybe pinged at their address, that's probably a neighbor," he says. "It's so obviously not Monique's voice. It's not them."
In the call, made in the middle of the night on April 15, a woman is heard weeping and telling the dispatcher that she no longer needed help and was just being "emotional." When asked why she had called in the first place, she responded, "because me and my man got into it, but I'm OK, I promise."
Misleh, who is married to Spencer's sister, initially told the Surviving The Survivor Podcast that the 911 call was made during a house party at the Tepes home, but now clarifies to PEOPLE that the incident he recalled on the podcast was from years earlier, and he had mixed up dates.
However, he maintains definitively that the woman who made the 911 call in April is not Monique either, especially given the language on the call.
"She said 'my man,' I don't know who that could've been," Misleh says, adding that that's not how Monique spoke.
He shared with PEOPLE a video from the couple's wedding where Monique spoke, further asserting that the voice is different from the call record released by FOX News.
I think this one is going to have an arrest. The video I don't think is by far all they have. This reminds me of the murder of Elizabeth Barraza, the woman who was shot while setting up for a yard sale. They have grainy video of the suspect and vehicle, but have never found her killer.
Retired FBI agent explains what investigators are seeking in couple’s killing
Trombitis has worked on hundreds of significant cases in his career. He said this is a solvable case. He addressed a video released by the Columbus police on Monday, showing someone the department said was a person of interest in the incident.
“When I look at this video, I see an individual that, you know, has taken some care to try to cover his face and that I see a bigger person that appears to be comfortable walking where they’re going,” Trombitas said.
He said he doesn’t see a visible weapon. He also looks at things like height, weight, clothing and movement.
“Somebody that knows an individual that maybe walks like that; everybody has their own gait and their own walk,” Trombitas said.
Trombitas said this person may not be involved in the crime, but may know something. He said that is why neighborhood canvassing is so important in a case like this.
“I want to talk to everybody in the area to see if they saw anything,” he said. “You know, it’s possible somebody was out letting their dog out and they saw a guy walk by and, you know, so you need to go out and really do a good canvass. And that would include also any businesses in the area.
“Because it’s possible, if this was a targeted shooting, that this individual that’s responsible may have hit a bar or a restaurant, not be familiar with the people that worked there, for example, and did you see anybody strange or different and matching this kind of a description and see if they have any video and things like that?” Trombitas said.
He said investigators also collected crime scene evidence like DNA and fingerprints inside the house. Trombitas said investigators are also likely doing victimology on both Spencer and Monique to understand relationships in their lives. He said this includes neighbors, co-workers, family and others.
“You want to try to establish some type of a motive,” Trombitas said. “Why would somebody want to target these two individuals? There had to be a reason why and it had to be so severe that you would want to kill not one, but both of them.”
He said investigators have likely already done an interview with their four-year-old child, accompanied by a trained child forensic specialist, wanting to determine if the child saw anything, recognized a suspect, or heard any noises.
“On one hand, as an investigator, would be great if they saw something that could help us out, but on the other hand, as a parent, you know, I hope they didn’t see or hear anything because that would be something awful to carry the rest of your life,” Trombitas said.
He said what may be the most important is the tips from the public, adding that it’s important for investigators to look into all possible theories.
“You want to follow the evidence in that because if you have an idea of maybe the path you want to go down, but it’s not matching up with any of the evidence or the information that you’re collecting, you’re maybe going down the wrong path, so you need to be aware of the possibility that what you’re thinking may not be really the thing,” Trombitas said.
He said someone knows something and said no tip is too small because investigators never know what information can break the case.
haven't heard that though much but targeted I have heard. he was shot more than once. she once it is assumed but we don't know for sure but seems the case. at first we heard they were in different rooms but i think that might have been an assumption just because he was seen through a window by the bed and she was not. i don't think we actually know. there's a lot the public doesn't know.I'm trying to figure out who would want them killed, as so far, it appears like a hit job.
