I’m watching a live report that Rob Reiner and his wife were stabbed to death in Brentwood and it might’ve been by Rob‘s son. Still waiting for verification.

I do think a part of things was they did not want the embarrassment. And had perhaps given up as the one video said, and after so many tries to help him had no faith anyone could.

He should have been on for sure a 72 hour hold but I wonder did they already try that? And perhaps when it was up, out he came or he decided to leave...

I watched a few really dumb clickbait ones, not bothering to share those. In one, Romy said no way was Nick allowed at the service for the parents. Well duh. Was that even an OPTION?

I would venture to guess the message was to Billy Crystal.

I guess it definitely can apply before conviction, a probate judge, a civil judge, others can determine he's responsible and the slayer law applies. And so on.

I'm still listening to that second link I posted. It's long and I didn't have time earlier.

A lot in it. A couple of more things: Michelle tried to never be in a room alone with Nick and as said previously started locking her bedroom door. She said to a friend that he walks or some such as if he's hunting...

There was a power outage not long before and only the main house went out, not the guest house. I take it to mean they are saying Nick was responsible for it. That seems to be confirmed when Rob allegedly said he thinks he's practicing... (Nick)

If this is all to be believed, there is very strange and disturbing behavior. So WHY the heck did they NOT get him held under the 72 hours thing and continue to do so? I didn't know you could do that repeatedly.

They are locking doors, saying scared of son, etc., were they just waiting for whatever he ended up doing...??

I'm not sure if I buy all of it. Doesn't seem to jive with acting normal at the gas station, normal in court, etc. Planning. Cleaning self up. Etc.

Still finishing the one video I linked. This phrase stood out by one therapist. He (Nick) doesn't want healing, he wants control. This after Rob had went to many a therapist meeting with Nick where Nick rarely engaged, mocked the therapist, etc. Rob wasn't the same his last year.

He didn't want to be a controlling father as he grew up with so he went the other way.

More. All from "sources" close of course.

I'm really getting the sense of a manipulative "kid" here. The more I hear, the more convinced. And a parent who did not want their "****" known and was ineffective. And who a "kid" played.

I base this also on some life experience and things I've seen.

Again things like hiring spiritual advisers and other gurus.

Hollywood. There's a reason I usually don't follow such cases.

Talked to a lawyer about whether he could have Nick removed from the property. SMH. Not long before. Allegedly.

And yeah, like Mel said, Michelle called a hotline five days before the murders. She saw it, lots about that. Told her sister, friends. Rob enabled sounds like. Neither of course wanted it known if it could be helped. She was the realist it seems, not Rob.

Enough of that for now. Need something lighter. I don't know where all this sh*t is coming from but many are clearly talking...

I've seen some good comments under videos. First of all TMZ is a paid defense whore.

But here is a comment: You are NOT to diagnose something like schizophrenia until the person is off all other illegal street drugs, etc. They go on to say was NICK ever off such or clean? Doubtful imo.
