She never broke up with the step brother as far as I know of. I've never seen anything about them dating. They'd been split up he said about six months. I've heard she was 17 and he 15 I think. To be clear I am talking of her ex bf, not her alleged murderer stepbrother. Just to keep it clear in the thread since the various families and kids make it a bit confusing.
That is exactly what a bar hold is. Your arm is the bar that is forced upon the neck.A bar hold is imo the forearm. You know if you are leaning on the bottom of your arm? From your elbow to your hand?
I guess I pic him doing that from on top of her just probably because he was allegedly on top of her once in their home. It would also be a position from which to try to get clothes off or rape sadly. That's what I envision. Of course she could have been trying to run from him and he did a bar hold catching her from behind as well...
I know. I picture him above her with his weight bearing on the arm. On the bed most likely. It could have been from behind though too. That is exactly what a bar hold is. Your arm is the bar that is forced upon the neck.
I blame both parents that were on the cruise for the situation to be able to happen. My girls both had very close male friends that went with us many places and I would never, ever think of them not being in the same room as I was in, especially when they got older. Even when it was with their cousins. No matter how well those kids got along, or not, this was not a smart plan at all.Whoa. I wondered if all the kids were with and the younger two might have been with the parents... There are two age 9 I think, one from each of the "parents" here. I also doubt ALL of her kids were with as the 18 year old stays with the dad but all the minors probably were though...
You know, I am sticking with this being a very bad decision by the parents, a fatal one, but at times I can believe some real naivete was part of it... But I mean do they live in the real world and pay attention to things?? These are teen stepchildren thrown together... Reportedly, Shauntel claims they tried to keep her older son from jumping out of a car because she would not let him stay with his girlfriend. He was 18 it seems, the one who lives with dad by choice. Yet Shauntel THEN lets her 16 year old son share a room with 18 year old Anna? That doesn't make any sense to me... In one case, she says no way and in the other she throws the kids together in a small stateroom...
I don't think they would have called it that if it was from behind, unless it happened with her facing down. Your weight doesn't bear down from behind. The bar and weight is how bar hold gets it's name.I know. I picture him above her with his weight bearing on the arm. On the bed most likely. It could have been from behind though too.
she'd have a better chance though if standing than him on top of her with is full body and weight, etc.
Hate talking so graphic but it's what it is.
I would also imagine she fought back in any way she could. I expect she will have his DNA under her nails I'd think. I wonder if he had any injuries...
I think you know I agree. I've said it with my daughters and stepson. They are all GOOD kids and I would never create or cause such a situation. They are still teens, unrelated. None of us have raised teens before before we did and still we know that--we were teens ourselves is one way parents should know that... Three marriages? A babysitter? Her dad should definitely KNOW that. Probably didn't care one bit or worry about it.I blame both parents that were on the cruise for the situation to be able to happen. My girls both had very close male friends that went with us many places and I would never, ever think of them not being in the same room as I was in, especially when they got older. Yeah I agree. I saw some people (not on here but in YT comments, etc.) though thinking it was from behind like while standing. I mean you could still bar the throat that way, but I think he was on top of her.I don't think they would have called it that if it was from behind, unless it happened with her facing down. Your weight doesn't bear down from behind. The bar and weight is how bar hold gets it's name.
Well it is what the cause of death says... Or manner... I get such mixed up lol.A bar hold is VERY up close and personal, too. That's evil IF this is what actually happened.
They have the same father though don't they and are only 2 years age dfference? That's why i am asking. The suspect is not her brother. He's a step brother. The child of the victims stepmother.
The victim and the suspect are not related, other than by marriage.
No, they don't have the same father. They are not related by blood in any way. They have the same father though don't they and are only 2 years age dfference? That's why i am asking.
I am wondering whether there were interviews of the 16 year old without a legal rep. If he was as upset as we are hearing then what he said may not be admissable, especially if he is having memory problems now.Why hasn't there been an arrest in this case?
most "experts" were saying the FBI will definitely await the autopsy results. not sure. Why hasn't there been an arrest in this case?
No. He is a stepbrother. They share no parents. No blood. Her dad married his mom. Both are from prior marriages in the case of each. They have the same father though don't they and are only 2 years age dfference? That's why i am asking.
Ok so he is the stepmother's son, the one that raised Anna? So these two were raised together pretty much? No, they don't have the same father. They are not related by blood in any way.
I don't think that I've heard that, his upset/memory problems but then been a bit behind last day or two. Can you tell me more?I am wondering whether there were interviews of the 16 year old without a legal rep. If he was as upset as we are hearing then what he said may not be admissable, especially if he is having memory problems now.
Lol, no. It is confusing I know. I'm not having trouble with it but then I was early on following it all.Ok so he is the stepmother's son, the one that raised Anna? So these two were raised together pretty much?
No, stepmother #2 raised Anna. Suspect is the son of stepmother #3.Ok so he is the stepmother's son, the one that raised Anna? So these two were raised together pretty much?
