Clinton Brink, 43, and wife Cristen, 41, were found dead on a walking trail at Devil’s Den State Park in northwestern Arkansas.

Police are now searching for a White male with a medium build, who was seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark pants, a dark ballcap, sunglasses and fingerless gloves. He was also carrying a black backpack, police said.

The suspect was also seen driving toward a park exit in a black, four-door sedan – possibly a Mazda with tape covering the license plate. The vehicle may have been traveling on State Route 170 or 220, police said.

So, there's actually a Podcast about "Park Predators".

And it appears the killer at Devil's Lake State Park is still unknown!

Early on it was reported that he was wearing dark shorts, dark tank top, and weight-lifting gloves. That is very different from what we see in the photo.

Did they get it that wrong? Or did he change?

The picture we see could be a still from a go-pro. I don’t know how many people would snap a picture of a random person. I don’t think i would do that.
I've seen stills taken from a go pro and the ones I've seen haven't been that crisp. That definitely doesn't mean it didn't though. Just a personal observation.

I wonder if those clothes in that description are under the totally inappropriate clothes.

I can only see the definite quilting on this part I circled when I have it blown up on my computer screen. He's dressed more for a late fall to early spring hike and this quilted material really baffles me, especially when looking at the temps that included excessive heat warnings. It also appears that his clothing is pristine clean.

When I look at it that way, I see the duffel bag covering that entire area. Notice the stripes that are visible on the right side, they go down nearly to his knees. The stripes on the right are the same as the stripes we see on the left?
I think you're right.
I saw the weird quilted-looking thing at first too, but now I think it's just the stripes.
That's a huge bag.

I'm not sure. It looks like the duffel stops near his waist line to me. What I see as quilted appears to be brownish and I'm pretty sure I see the bottom edge of the bag.

I played with the contrast and I am now fairly convinced that I see the definite outline of the bag at around his hip area.

I also see the definite bottom edge at the start of the line on the arrow on the right hand side and it lines up with what I see as the bottom edge on the left hand side by the arrow itself on the left hand side.

Is that a quilted puffer coat?

No, wait. It DOES match the stripes on the duffle bag. It still looks like a knee length coat though.

I don't think it's part of the bag though because of it looking like a single layer of material. The bottom of a bag would have more bulk, I would think, especially when you look at the top of it and how "slouchy" it hangs. The material by his knees hangs straight and smooth. No idea what it is though.

Could it be a quilted lining of a jacket/ flannel shirt or similar? Like he might have had one tied around his waist? Oof! He was really out of place if that's what it is.

Not that it really matters in the long run...but I think he's got the water bag / camelbak, AND the big bag with stripes, AND something around his waist.

Yes! I was thinking the backpack part looked like a possible camel back. AND a bag AND something hanging from his waist. Oh, lordy, he had to be melting in that.

This makes me think that he was possibly not local and might have been unprepared for the heat with whatever his actual plan was. There were just advisories going on there for nearly two weeks when this happened.
