Yup. And they were ORDERED to release that 911 call by a was it fed judge??? Was by a judge, and that bad regime still wouldn't do it. Politics, and bad people imo.

It is power and NYC area. And yeah, hiding your own stuff.

And she was just a prostitute ya know.

I've heard retired NYPD who buy the findings on Gilbert. And then half the public or more will say she was on drugs obviously and so on....

Not how I see it at all.
It seems to me that a mental health crisis is always the last thing you consider.

It's an unusual morning if my cat doesn't wake me up, lol!
Mine normally don't--so long as the food bowl is full when I go to bed. LOL. My mom's always do but she has them trained sort of to expect treats and such in the morning so if she wants to sleep in, forget it. It is why I don't do that LMAO.

But the minute I am up my toddler acting cat is right there even so. But they don't wake me. I've had enough animals through my lifetime to know if you routinely give them some treat or special thing at a certain time of day, they are going to wake you LOL. Seen my mom do it, my sister do it, and when I do it at random times for the next couple of weeks OMG at least, they think every time I go in the kitchen they hope I'm getting them something. NOPE.

Little pains in the butt.

LOL. I get it though, lol, yes. I think I had him, and got him when maybe a year old the one, six months or more and he was up all night and tearing around and the other one I'd had since a kitten, and he slept my hours which were normal, before the adopted one learned to sleep normal hours for humans... OMG. LOL.

Yah. Anyone who has had cats knows right? But this ONE I tell ya...

And yes, people that give them routines, my mom, sister, etc. boy if one day their human is not up at that hour, they WILL wake them up lol. Is that what you have??

Well, the police hadn't gone to Oak Beach in response to Gilbert's call because Gilbert couldn't tell them where she was. (Have you heard the call?)
I think it was Colletti and Brennan's calls LE responded to, which are the only calls I know of.
She'd run away from Pak twice and he gave up and left before LE arrived. LE wasn't informed of her contact with Brewer until the 3rd when he and Alex and Pak went to the Jersey City Police Dept. (I think it was or it was some other P.D.) to report her as missing.

Anyway, it isn't as though nobody responed or looked, it's that nobody knew where she went.
I've heard it all. Been awhile but I have.

Yes, she couldn't give them a location when asked.

And a lot comes from Brewer and Pak who I wouldn't trust as far as they could be thrown. I don't take the words of anyone without reason.

And look at how it was handled or NOT handled after.

Respectfully definitely, always, but not in agreement.

Probably somewhat so--but in the same breath, some just put all to that too. Okay, that's what it was, and I do NOT mean you, they drowned, it was a mental health crisis and so on, and more so these days than ever. Case closed. Over. And it is often not the case, that's why I can be like that.

And you are right, to a point. I'm not young and I come from the school of you just get through and do what you have to do.

It may sound dumb and off track but I watch a lot of life and cooking channels, almost all are in their 30s and 40s. A lot of them home schooling, various things. And most of the mom's are on about their own mental health, just had to take a week, etc. and I'm like in my head you have KIDS. Just going through a hard time. Well not sure about you, but boy been there, hard times. And I have a daughter in her 30s and one in her 40s and not all are like that. I don't deny there can be mental health issues but I think a ton of things are easily put down to that when it comes to crime and such. Oh sure she suicided, nothing wrong there, it was her mental health.

So I agree with you that I don't easily go there. I just don't. I'll allow for drugs--but even then no one has proved to me they weren't given to them, forced on someone. I don't believe in closing cases if there is not definitive proof.

AND I trust my instincts even though I've went against them in my life but the older I get, the more I know that.

But yeah, I admit it, I don't often go there-- have mental crises just developed in the last how many years? Mel has said many a time on here you can have such but it doesn't mean you go do this or that. Doesn't make you do this, or kill, or run, etc. And that's where I sit at.

Most of us probably know of someone with some issues or have a family member that has some and so on. I'm not clueless to it. But again, doesn't necessarily mean you don't have a life survival instinct, or you never ever kill someone instinct and so on.

That's why I don't go there much. Not sure if I made sense but it's not an excuse and in the worst situations instinct takes over imo. Been in a few myself. Yeah, I don't go there easily. I don't close the door without answers.

Just so it's clear, the reason you don't believe Brewer is because you think he's "odd" and re Pak, it's because he's also odd and you "don't like" him?
What they say happened is supported by other witnesses and other evidence including the 911 call.

The way I see it, the only thing anyone could have done but didn't to find Gilbert was to search that marsh.

I'm sorry, I just don't agree. Respectfully as always of course.

LE seemed to do nothing and part is that that they are prostitutes and so on.

Shannon had a driver but surely he knew she was an escort/etc.

What kind of bf lets his gf do other men? Sounds like a pimp. Happy to have the money maybe.

These men are better than what they think of as to prostitutes?

Seriously?

Odd? They aren't just odd. They are men that take advantage. Think little of women or women like "that".

I have my opinion on it and we are not likely to agree on this one it sounds like. They are high caliber men for sure.... NOT.

And good morning, always with respect LOL.

Yeah, belated good morning to you, too, lol.

So I know we don't agree- it's that I don't know where your opinion comes from- but that's ok, lol!

Yeah it happens at times and I think both used to it no?

But okay about it too as it should be.

Followed this one for years on end. Not all comes to mind well of course but I've never been ok with the dr., brewer, the driver and so on.

I can't always recall what got me there but I always know I form opinions on what did so if I recall the opinion which I generally do, I know I got there from weighing what I knew.

If that makes any sense lol.

Personally too I think Pak may have well set her up.

We of course don't have to agree. Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. I don't take offense at it though and always seems to me you don't either. It's just how it is sometimes. Just life. Nothing wrong with discussion and debate is how I see things.

That's not a good enough excuse. Residents rang LE too. IMO they didn't look behind Hackett's house and he gave her something to calm her down and she died so he hid her belongings and body. But he got her mothers number off her phone first to contact her. That's my theory anyway.

Before I skimmed through some of Hackett's depo, I'd forgot and I don't think you know or remember but when Gilbert's mother found out she was missing, she actually disconnected her phone! I can now recall one of Gilbert's sisters having talked about that somewhere...
Anyway, in his depo, Hackett said the boyfriend called him on May 6th and asked him to talk to the mother about reconnecting it.
just wow! i did not know that

I have to agree with you--not sure on your theory, maybe--but he shouldn't have been giving her anything--whole thing is stinking WEIRD.

All gated communities maybe that area of Long Island is? But yes, others called too.

I'm never going to be okay with her case--unless other answers come.

LE could have located her by pinging her phone while she was talking to them couldn't they? That was all very weird IMO.

Not sure, you'd think so by 2010 if they ever gave a sh*t to begin with. Yes, odd, weird, whatever one wants to call it. I'm not okay with it and likely never will be.

Mary Murphy just put this out.... its about peaches..... tanya jackson

Man that is such a sad read with other murders mentioned too and other girls/women I guess.

Seems pretty likely to me since he would not answer on whether she turned to other work (meaning sex work I am sure) that she probably did. Sometimes what they won't answer kind of answers things in and of itself... Just guessing of course but I'm sure they know most likely.

And reading of the others was sad.

Having to pick and choose what links i read these days but I did read this one.

I don't think we had heard of this victim before so i have copied the details from the article and have posted them below.

"The nude body of Alicia Adams, a 22 year old mother of two, was tossed into the brush of North Conduit Avenue near the eastbound Belt Parkway in June 2013. 13 of her teeth were missing. Adams, too, did sex work since the age of 13 near The Stroll and was last seen near the Imperial Hotel in East New York.

The initial victims discovered in the investigation, known as the Gilgo Four, had advertised their escort services online. But other victims were allegedly solicited on the street.

Some of the dismembered victims were cut with a "hunter's precision," the official noting, "Some of them, you can tell, they're done with an understanding of the anatomy."

The Heuermann case is still in the pre-trial hearing phase, with the defense trying to keep out evidence utilizing nuclear DNA from rootless hairs found on six of the 7 victims."

Yeah I noticed that too, new name. Since 13? So stinking sad. I mean anyone that doesn't think they had the best life but you didn't end up on the streets at 13 needs to appreciate the life they had unless worse than that. I could cry.

At THIRTEEN! And honestly probably being done by the grossest of men and look how it ended. Just SO SAD.
