Not sure what you mean here. I'm not saying they were taken from where she worked, I'm just wondering if she had a babysitter at the times she was working who might know of someone that was creepy in her life at the time she went missing.
I am thinking since both were found dead it was someone with them both, unless you think they were killed at different times? Sorry, I didn't mean to be confusing. IF she was at work and someone watching the child, then it is different time frames as to both murders--which it COULD be of course.

well just as a side note I am crying again but this time not over victims or a case. i just chopped an onion that was very strong lol. so just adding a light note but my eyes are burning!

So if it was CB, he was with Asa at that time - June '97- they would have had a young baby themselves.

I agree they were vague about the dr office as if they aren't sure. Definitely sad that she was estranged from family and baby's dad, That alone is why i think no one reported her missing.... but they have her address from brooklyn so how long were they gone before i am assuming this was a rental that a landlord didn't hear from anyone, nothing was paid and place was emptied.... they must know that....right?
I'm glad they were public with the address in case someone they couldn't locate that knows that address and knew her can come forward with even the smallest bit of info that may help.
I agree that the name Peaches could be a sex worker name too or even just a cute harmless nickname.... having ties to Georgia makes it make a little more sense but it could also be completely irrelevant. Could be something that only has meaning to her....
I missed where they gave her address in Brooklyn. What was it?

In retrospect, I suppose the fact that authorities were looking in a specific state should have clued me in that identifications had been made by then.
All I recall thinking is how inexplicable it was that authorities were stuck in Alabama, lol.

Info is it was 230 54th Street.

Ok thanks. I'll check out distance to CB's office. See below it's about 3 miles.Screenshot_20250424-175001_Samsung Internet.jpg

This article has details of some of the buildings CB worked on.

From the article, i wondered when he worked on this doctor's office?

60 Gramercy

building15
A doctor’s office at 60 Gramercy Park North.

RH Architecture also provided architecture and interior design for the new location of a doctor’s office, whose specifics on the project website aren’t made fully clear.

It’s located on the ground floor of a multi-family elevator building with views of Gramercy Park’s tree lined streets.

The design consisted of a full renovation including raising the interior floor level throughout the space to make it level with the building corridor to meet ADA standards.

Heuermann’s firm added new finishes, a custom reception desk and lighting design.

I don’t read in here very often because I’m just basically waiting for the case to come to trial, but what does CB stand for? I’ve been calling the accused “R H”.

Crybaby we call him. Remember?

Yeh aren't we all waiting for the trial plus a ton of relatives too. Do we have an estimated date yet at all?

Thank you! I fell asleep early yesterday and just got back here

The older woman in the YT discussion of this case I posted above was in the discussion of supposedly crying when arrested and saying he didn't do it and they were discussing whether he was really crying and all said they'd have to see it, and see the arrest, etc. and I agree.

But I bring that up to give context, in discussing this at a point she said you know as far as serial killers getting nicknames, she joked that maybe his should be Crybaby. I agree. I like it because they want and he wants a big bad name, it's what serial killers want.

I like ogre and I get your Shrek too but I think I may like BIG Crybaby best. I added BIG lol.
Bringing forward as a reminder of the nickname chosen.

haven't had a chance to look into much but that's interesting. i think they are hoping for tips that come that give them something to solid to charge with maybe. they were so vague about her working for some doctor or medical office...

Yeah he cried early on, and serial killers like tough names so we nicknamed him Crybaby thinking he wouldn't like it. It kind of stuck LOL. I don't know that it will ever be known out there in the big world but I think it would be a great name he wouldn't like if it did lol. I refuse to call Dennis Rader either by the name he prefers of B T K. They don't need more of the attention that way, seems to be what they want.

Jmo though.
