The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert for a missing 3-year-old boy who was last seen Tuesday morning in a Clarksville neighborhood.
On June 2, the Clarksville Police Department said Tyler Hall was reported missing from the area of Aurelia Lynn Drive around 11:30 a.m.
Tyler is described as a white male with blond hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 3.5 to 4 feet tall, weighs about 40 pounds and was last seen wearing a dinosaur T-shirt, light green shorts and gray socks.
Police said officers, along with multiple assisting agencies, are conducting an extensive search of the neighborhood and surrounding wooded areas. Investigators are also reviewing surveillance footage from the area.
FOX 17 News was at the scene Tuesday afternoon, where a large law enforcement presence was visible and agencies had established a staging area at a church on Lafayette Road.
In an update Tuesday evening, Clarksville police said a significant number of first responders are involved in the search, including K-9 teams. Officials are asking members of the public who do not live in the affected neighborhood to stay away from the area so search operations can continue without interruption.
