MINNEAPOLIS (NewsNation) — Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Friday that 30 more people have been indicted for allegedly taking part in an anti-immigration enforcement protest at a Minnesota church.

In a social media post, Bondi said 25 people had been arrested, with more arrests to come later in the day.

“YOU CANNOT ATTACK A HOUSE OF WORSHIP. If you do so, you cannot hide from us — we will find you, arrest you, and prosecute you,” she wrote in the post. “This Department of Justice STANDS for Christians and all Americans of faith.”

The indictment increases the scope of a criminal case that also includes former CNN anchor Don Lemon, one of nine people initially charged in the case. All 39 defendants are charged with conspiracy against the right of religious worship and violating a law that forbids obstructing access to houses of worship.

FBI director Kash Patel also commented Friday on the arrests.

“Let it be known: This FBI will never tolerate anyone who targets, intimidates, or attacks Americans peacefully exercising their right to worship freely. Thank you
@AGPamBondi and @TheJusticeDept for your relentless pursuit of this case,” a statement posted to social media read in part.

I posted something about this the other day, a mom that had been missing for 20+ years who was found recently but said she didn't want contact with her children, family, etc. Well now she's been arrested for a long outstanding warrant for a DUI. And I guess IS in contact with one of her 3 kids now. It's such an old DUI that one can only hope she still gets some consequences from it but heck, who knows if arresting officers, etc. are still even on the force right? I hope that as she's clearly someone who does not face her responsibilities and runs from them. Even IF there was some DV, and who knows, or "mental health" issues, she abandoned her children, was fired from her job, was with another man, did nothing to help support her children, and was only "caught" or would never have faced her responsibilities imo.

It's short, and interesting...

Unaccompanied migrant children...

Sounds like we have some very bad or nonexistent parents imo.

Put the blame where it belongs.

Isn't it ABC that claimed they were going to go to the middle in news...? Maybe it was CBS. I mix them up as don't care about any of them.

Good Lord lol. I could hare some stories of where I worked/work that are bad but also humorous... Some other time though. Just sharing this one. What is WRONG with people lol. Were they assorted.... ? :D

The system is not running legally. There is a way things are required to be done. We aren't supposed to be sending people to prisons in countries they never came from either.

And why do we need so many mass detention centers if they are actually being deported?

You are talking politics which you always get away with. I'm talking parents of these children. Not engaging. Because we all know how that goes.

Police Chief Lisa Davis said officers found an active shooter when they arrived at the scene.
“Three of our officers returned fire, killing the suspect,” Davis said.
Davis said that police were promptly able to respond to the shooting due to their presence on East Sixth Street, the city’s liveliest strip of bars and restaurants. She did not immediately offer a more detailed timeline of event

Austin EMS Chief Rob Luckritz said that three of the 14 individuals taken to hospitals were in critical condition.

The FBI has joined the Austin Police Department in the investigation into the shooting, authorities confirmed. As of 5:30 a.m., police were processing an expansive scene, including trying to collect security video in the area and talking to any patrons or witnesses inside and outside the bar.
Mayor Kirk Watson praised first responders for their prompt arrival at the scene.
“I’m very thankful for the speed with which our officials responded to this,” Watson said. “I don’t think there’s any question: it saved lives.”
A few employees of Buford’s were gathered outside at 5 a.m. but declined to comment. A former manager, Scott Yancy, hugged one of the workers and burst out in tears.

Yancy said no one at Buford’s had been injured.
“I’m so glad everyone is OK,” Yancy said.

Last thing i heard was that authorities were separating migrants' children from the migrants. So which is correct?
