IDK. You would think of he was autistic it would have been mentioned already. I'm not discounting what you are saying. He waived his right to plea. Maybe it will end up an insanity plea is what I am thinking. Like the sheriff who shot the judge is trying to get.
I watched the interview. So he would have been about 22 at the time?
He is socially awkward and it occurs to me he could be autistic. So this interview took place about 10 years ago? He is not comfortable in the interview at all. He is reminding me a bit of the Idaho killer.
TYVM for that information. I didn’t even think about a guest house. But, if they had enough, they certainly could have ordered I'm off the property. I'm leaning towards that's what set him off.So per Entin, Nick was living in a guest house on the Reiner property, not in the main house. More that is new to me in his video above too.
What I read he waived the right to plead guilty or not guilty.Yeah the right to a speedy arraignment was waived, exactly. He did not waive the right to plea.
Yeah. Bad reporting seems to happen alot. I had never heard of that happening beforeI think the waiving his right to a plea was misreporting. The arraignment was put off for three weeks to early January. The need to plea was just postponed, not waived. That's what I heard from most yesterday.
It’s a stall tactic.I've never heard of waiving a plea of guilty or not guilty. Huh?.
Yeah I saw that in probably the same article but that's not what I've heard from many others. And Jackson (atty) said he needs time before pleading. He just waived speedy arriagnment I suppose because it was they who wanted more time to plea. So yeah, I think they confused that "waiving" with waiving a right to plea. What I read he waived the right to plead guilty or not guilty.
I think so too. After his behavior at the party, I think they told him it was time for him to move out and that enraged him. He has said in interviews before that his parents have thrown him out of the guest house and so he destroyed the guest house.TYVM for that information. I didn’t even think about a guest house. But, if they had enough, they certainly could have ordered I'm off the property. I'm leaning towards that's what set him off.
yes but the right to a speedy arraignment was waived as they asked for the postponement. Otherwise, arraignment has to take place I believe in a certain amount of time. This explains what an arraignment is. Ie it's a formal reading of the charges and a plea from the defendant. So the arraignment was postponed not waived.

So as GBear said. Bad reporting then. Imagine that. This explains what an arraignment is. Ie it's a formal reading of the charges and a plea from the defendant. So the arraignment was postponed not waived. The article I copy pasted said he waived his right to a speedy arraignment, which was correct and is the same as postponing the arraignment.

His attorney is going to go for insanity plea. I have no doubt. It’s a stall tactic.
Yeah, I've heard some pretty experienced types talking, that even know Alan Jackson and the prosecutor, etc. but they just don't see much of a defense other than to try the mental health route. They also don't see a plea and I could give more detail on that but gotta go in about 15 minutes to get this thing over with. FINALLY. I'm thirsty as heck. His attorney is going to go for insanity plea. I have no doubt.
Yes. I believe everyone is entitled to a speedy arraignment, so they can get bailed quickly. This guy clearly won't be bailed so it was postponed for a month. Not surprising with the holidays coming up.yes but the right to a speedy arraignment was waived as they asked for the postponement. Otherwise, arraignment has to take place I believe in a certain amount of time.
