You and me both! And Sutherlin is very small. There’s some roadside businesses there and I’m merely assuming she might have been seen gassing up there, but have no idea for sure.

The only thing that would prove she was there would be video in my opinion. Anything else could be anyone using her things. Anyone could have her cell phone, vehicle, debit card etc. And I would have to wonder how they quickly determined this. Generally video takes some time and if it is miles from where the vehicle was found, how did they pinpoint it? Maybe it was debit card use or a gas receipt found in the car or something and then they followed up and found video?

I've been searching the web and I can't find a thing posted about her going missing! It really is strange since she was said to be a "well-known" real estate agent! I agree with you!

Yeah it is strange. No family clamoring for her return or asking if anyone has seen her to call LE. Did no one even know or care if she was missing maybe then LE found the car and then asked the family about her?

It kind of makes me wonder if she didn’t leave a note. There was a case of a missing woman south of Eugene that I was sharing a lot before the website crashed in 2020. I got contacted by a friend of hers and they told me that she had left a note and the family was wanting to just be quiet about the whole situation. Very sad.

Never thought of that, that they know more than we do so no need to ask for information. However, this woman IS missing, wouldn't you want all info regardless? It isn't like if there was a note, it led them to finding her right?

I think just as likely is a family member is suspect BUT that's not fair I guess as there seems to be a sighting of her in Oregon. Or IS there? One possibility is she was with someone and LE doesn't want to share how they know this because of that...

I don't know. All I know is it is odd. And very quiet. I almost feel they didn't want ANY info out but it got out and they are stemming all they can but couldn't stop it from hitting the news. What is there just this ONE thing about it?

That's what I thought about the other woman who was missing, why not want to find her? Maybe they just didn't really want to know...too much reality? Everyone is different and when it comes to the loved ones of the missing, I believe in letting them process things their own way without my interference.

So long as none of them were involved yes, I agree. And I can see where if a note was suicidal or hurtful towards family members where they just might not want to know nor maybe even care. I guess. I can be mad at someone though and still if a family member I want to at least know they are safe and okay. It is essential to me. To each their own though.

RED BLUFF, Calif. — A Red Bluff woman and well-known local realtor, Tammy Pitkin, has been missing for nearly two months.

KRCR first reported on Pitkin's case back in November, shortly after her Toyota Camry was found deserted on a forest service road in Oregon, north of Eugene.

Since then, a Facebook page has been created in her name with over 1,000 followers and countless posts.

Airaka Laughlin, Tammy’s half-sister, recently started commenting on the page after learning of her sister's disappearance on Sunday. Admittedly estranged from Tammy for the last five-plus years, Laughlin spoke with KRCR's Sam Chimenti on Wednesday about the importance of keeping her investigation going.

According to Laughlin, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon has concluded its search for Tammy and given the investigation over to Tehama County.

"I was kind of surprised by that," said Laughlin.

However, Laughlin did say Linn County still has two investigators assigned to Pitkin's case.

I just don’t know that there is a motivation to locate my sister," Laughlin said. "There were things that were happening prior to her disappearance that... skewed their (law enforcement's) impartiality. They're just kind of like 'she left on her own.'"
"If this is true, why do you think she left?" KRCR's Sam Chimenti asked.

"Currently, she is not mentally well. And, I believe, she got a little bit scared," Laughlin responded. "And, maybe, in the midst of her traveling wherever she was planning to go, she decided to pull off to the side of the road because she got scared by something. Maybe she thought she was being followed—I’m not sure."

She was last seen in Sutherlin, which is about an hour south of Eugene. Her car was found about 45 minutes north of Eugene. I’m starting to wonder if somebody didn’t harm her and take her car and ditch it in Linn County. And they say that she’s probably with her dogs, but what if she isn’t? Maybe the dogs got separated and were found by random people somewhere else.
Hopefully if that's the case the people with the dogs have some sense and check if they are being looked for. Cases like that have happened.

Collier at first all thought was a RE agent and it lent to some theories but she was an office manager for a realty co. In this case though, it could play in... Easy way to get to meet with her...

She has been gone a long time already...
Being a woman real estate agent is quite dangerous. There have been several women killed because they were called to book an appointment for a showing. And they were murdered. My dad's realtor, That I knew in high school, Denise said they go with 2 people now.

My question, Is not accusatory. But she was estranged from her for 5 years. Now she says she was mentally unstable and hinting at some other things. How does she know so much?. No one else seems to be around like that. How did you get this information?.

I was wondering the same thing? I guess we can assume she felt that way about her five years ago. Tammy may have been in a temporary situation that made her appear unstable but things had evened out by the time she went missing. Just my thoughts.

MIKE!!!! News is news. But I think "Freedom of the press" Is too broad. And they go way to far. Alot of times they have no limit on what they say or do. Gotta get that story.

I love the comments they made about the deputy. I know this LE group and they are very committed, compassionate and caring.

We’ve had a very wet spring season. But we’re drying out! We’re supposed to be in the 90s on Sunday. Once everything starts drying out, it will be much safer to search. I may be in the area on Saturday, but I’m not sure yet. I won’t be up on that road, though.
