He apparently moved her body, so no excuse for his DNA at that point.

the case did have a few issues in investigation. For one, LE let him and a buddy get near the bike when found and brought up. I hate articles that say still she went missing on a bike ride. She did NOT in the opinion of most all. That narrative was all made up and directed by him. That's news for ya.

There are several good YTers on this case that followed it. Linda is one. Linda does a lot of snark at Barry just s she did at Lori Daybell. But she has a way of doing it that is deserved, not uncalled for. She knows the case inside and out and seems to be back and hopefully she will stick with now after his arrest, a long time coming.

The two retired cops who used to be together but are not separate imo damaged this case. They both are now doing shows on it as if they never did that, but they did. I'd recommend Linda first if she is on. There are others.

I'm moving to this one as my first although the wheels may turn slowly, hard to say. Always been my pet case. I'm so over like Vallow and Read and hope they go QUIET. Kohberger. LISK. A few others of course.

This one though. Man have I, and may out there been WAITING for this!

Possibly even better since there is a very good chance that his DNA at the scene could possibly be explained away.
I watched an old episode of 48 hours in order to get a grasp on this case. They mentioned DNA found from a serial rapist on the glove box of her car? What the heck is that? Sounds like it’s going to be a red herring in his case, unless it’s been explained away by now.

I thought that was unidentified. Good thing they found the body. Without the evidence from the body, that would've been enough for reasonable doubt.

THAT is the ridiculous thing that the judge believed from the D and many others. I can give you two YTers who explained it well of what he fell for. Do you know how Nate was in the Daybelll cases, really got on board and found them and more? Well Lauren Scharf and her photographer, etc. did in Morphew. They were AWESOME. SHE explained it. She also ended up threatened and more in the case. She has now left reporting, moved and I think works for a school district. I have TRIED to find that episode when people ask. Haven't been able to. I don't think it is gone, I just don't know what one it was in and so on, they had many. Think her camera person was Sarah, everyone loved them.'ve s

To me it means nothing as I have heard it explained but the judge as I've said in the first trial fell for a lot OR had connections or something with Barry. He did a LOT of things that should not have been done imo. And then there were imo politics. I guess that's all i can tell you as I don't have a link. Can take my word or not. Not sure if someone like Nate would know, I don't recall him on it much.

And ask this, who is he to have the only BAM as a civilian?

The DNA if I recall did not come back to the rapist, it came back to those who could be related, etc. Also there was never a HINT that her vehicle was involved in any way and he himself pointed them to a bike ride and planted both bike and helmet, etc. imo.

I'm sure or hope the are ready to handle that part. And it well could have also been Barry or even help he had. I think of him as almost a mobster type.

I wish I recalled more on that but it was explained and explained well and what the judge did NOT GET. Hopefully they are more than ready for that.

Lauren followed this case faithfully, I forget who she reported for, but started her own channel too. I think she may pop on as she was very, very passionate about it and Suzanne. She has before. I suspect she quit reporting and moved over the threats. He (and possibly a few friends) are again like thugs and mob types.

He also was the one who wanted to move from IN to CO and from most accounts she didn't want to. He knew the area way better than her, had been there plenty. He took her awa
y from her aged dad and all family and friends and the home and area she had loved for years and more.

I probably am going on too much but as I've said, it is my pet case and there IS much to it and a reason almost all want justice for her. One might see a rare Barry supporter out there, but it's not the common perspective. Not a lot of diversity in this case on opinions.

The reporter I mentioned and her photographer, the first has since left the job but I figured they would be jumping on, they put a lot of care and work into this case.

I'd also add BM's gf/former one has spoken out. I saw a blip on it but it hasn't come back up for me since.

Not quite. They found a familial match, meaning the person that left it was related to a rapist. Not the rapist himself

Not if you understand that it wasn't the rapist that left it but just a person related to them. The person that left it might not even know of the rapist because it could be related waaay down the line.

What difference does that make?
How would it be reasonable doubt though? There was no rapist that left it. It easily could have been one of their friends or one of the girls friends or somebody that serviced the vehicle that just happen to have a rapist somewhere way back in their lineage.

No. It wasn't a match for the rapist but to a relative of the rapist. This has been stated many times now plus she did not disappear from her vehicle anyway, which has also been stated many times.

So the DNA belongs to one person they've identified? I thought that it was one of the relatives of the rapist.
