The Wexford County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the disappearance of 22-year-old Rebecca Park, who is reported missing and possibly endangered.

Park, who is approximately 38 weeks pregnant, was last seen willingly getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle on Monday night around 11:30 p.m. outside a relative's home on South 21 1/2 Road.

She had arranged to be picked up but did not disclose to the witness who would be picking her up, the sheriffs office said.

Deputies said her cellphone was later discovered on a two-track near the location where she was last seen.

I'm sure they know FAR more than they are letting the public know.

They have this info from her bio mum supposedly. But they also have access to traffic cams, phone data etc.

Do they have the details of the vehicle she was picked up in?

Do they know where it went?

This is a pregnant vulnerable woman and her unborn child - they need to do their job. What are they doing about this abduction?

Instead of berating the public, they need to pull their finger out.

i agree this reaction here by LE is a bit overboard. Nothing but themselves halts what they can release either imo no matter what they say.

Maybe the online stuff is overboard, I don't know but silence also breeds such.

For their part, they've confirmed basically not a single thing.

and bio mom has reportedly changed what vehicle to look for and why I have that question. I'm definitely questioning if there even was a car that took her away.

The phone was found basically where she got into the vehicle so that wouldn't do any good - definitely why it was found where it was. They live out in the boonies so not much in the way of traffic cams for miles. Most of the few houses that were there were tucked away so a doorbell cam might not reach to catch what happened on the road, especially around the midnight blackness in the boonies.

if the car never left that area, doubtful any camera footage exists. if the car even exists. if it was an uber, a record would exist. if it was a friend, etc., then there should be a call or text on her phone. if none of that, there was no car imo.

If the mom's story did actually change to what type of vehicle it was, then I am definitely leaning to no vehicle existed. They should have gone through her phone by now to see if there were any messages or phone calls right before 11:30 pm unless they haven't been able to secure a court order yet for some reason. I would think this would be an expedited case for this though.

I am trying to avoid thinking mom did something to her but honestly her own statements lead one to wonder if she is telling the truth...

The thought that Rebecca's bf was formerly her mom's bf is something I also keep in the back of my head...
