PAUL & MAGGIE MURDAUGH: South Carolina vs. Alex Murdaugh for Double Homicide of wife & son *GUILTY* (3 Viewers)

This case is being kept pretty quiet, no major details released to speak of (other than it does say there were two different guns used), but no info regarding who found them, who called 911, very little else.

Of interest, the grandfather died just a few days after these murders and it sounds as if he was ill from various articles so probably not unexpected. I think of the typical motives, did grandpa have a big estate? How big in the overall family of grandpa's on down? They sound like a pretty well known family and a powerful one in their state, more on that in the article.

Video covering it. They have Poot on halfway through. Headline is a bit misleading. She's not in jail but has been charged and bailed.

Another case that just keeps on giving. I watched a podcaster that had met here when she attended the trials and she really stuck up for her calling her about the nicest woman you could ever meet.
I at first thought it was a lot of politics and I still think such may play in but there is no doubt she made a lot of really dumb decisions. I'm about ready to call her a stupid bimbo honestly.

But she WAS thrown in jail until she bonded out.
This is what is stated upthread. She didn't even have to put up any money. She voluntarily turned herself in at 7:30 a.m. but was charged and released.

Hill was granted a $10,000 public recognizance bond, meaning she was not required to put up any money as a condition of securing her release. She has been scheduled to make an initial appearance in Colleton County on those charges in two months – on Friday, July 18, 2025

Below article includes a video of her hearing also.
