The McClain County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Amber Alert for a 4-year-old child Tuesday evening.

Officials say the victim, Omar Murillo, went missing at 6:45 p.m. near 1269 North Atkins Hill Road. Murillo was last seen wearing light grey sketcher sneakers, navy blue sweat pants and a black long sleeve shirt.

The suspect, 19-year-old Karen Murillo, forcibly took the child from his custodial parents, officials said.

Officials say the suspect is suicidal and made threats using a text message that she is going to kill the child and herself.

Murillo and the child were last seen driving in a tan 1997 Saturn coupe with the Oklahoma license plate HKL-619.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 4-year-old boy Tuesday.

Deputies said a domestic child abduction occurred just before 7 p.m. Tuesday night in the 1200 block of N. Atkins Hill Rd., Lot number 20.

According to authorities, the suspect, 19-year-old Karen Jasmin Murillo, forcibly took Omar Murillo, 4, from his custodial parents.

Karen Murillo is believed to be suicidal and reportedly made threats via text message saying she is going to kill the child and herself, according to the news release.

McClain County Sheriff's Office locates 4-year-old boy after Amber Alert

MCCLAIN COUNTY, Okla. —
The McClain County Sheriff's Office has located a 4-year-old boy who authorities said was abducted by his 19-year-old mother.

Sheriff's Office officials said Karen Jasmin Murillo forcibly took Omar Murillo around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday from his custodial parents in Purcell. Authorities said Murillo is suicidal and made threats via text message to kill Omar and herself.

Officials say the boy has been located and his mother is in custody.
