AMBER Alert issued for missing Houston 1-year-old

Police have issued an AMBER Alert for one-year-old Noah Mi'aani Jah-sae Johnson.

Noah was last seen with his 38-year-old mother, Kamilah Antoinette Johnson, on February 6, around 12:30 p.m., in the 11400 block of Space Center Blvd, Houston, Texas.

Investigators say Noah's doctor alerted CPS after realizing Johnson had not picked up Noah's medication from a local pharmacy. CPS representatives was so concerned, they asked deputies to go to the family's apartment and take custody of the little boy. When deputies arrived, the apartment was emptied.

Doctors say Noah, who was last seen wearing a navy shirt with flower-print pants, has a serious medical condition that could worsen if he doesn't get his medication in time.

Authorities say they believe Johnson is driving a white 2007 GMC Yukon with the license plate STM7097 and could be headed to Missouri.

HOUSTON – A 1-year-old baby boy and his mother have still not been found after an Amber Alert was issued for their disappearance in the Houston area more than two weeks ago.

Last week, the Harris County Pct. 8 Constable’s Office told KPRC 2 that they believe baby Noah may have been taken by his mother and are now in Kansas City, Missouri where she has family.

Since they do not think the two are in Texas any longer, the statewide Amber Alert was discontinued.

A regional 14-countywide Amber Alert remains in effect.

Noah Mi’anni Jah-sae Johnson was last seen on Feb. 6 with his mother, 38-year-old Kamilah Johnson, in the 11400 block of Space Center Boulevard in Houston.

According to officials, the child is in dire need of his medicine due to severe health complications.

On Feb. 8, Lieutenant Charles Francis with Harris County precinct constables office said that Child Protective Services received a notification from Noah’s doctor’s office that he had not been receiving medical care or the medication that he requires.

Francis did not tell KPRC 2 the exact medical condition Noah has, however, said that it’s quite serious.

“It is a serious medical condition that does require constant attention and medication,” Francis said.
So how is it known he has heart issues and other things when here it does not say what it is? From SM or FB or some such?Just wondering if that is verified is all or rumor that seems to have likelihood. Reading through all posts since last on in this one.

So since they publicly have dialed down to an area and dropped the other alters and so on elsewhere, they know where he is, I'd guess they know he is alive and know where she is.

I'd say there is more to this than shared.

Of course I don't do FB and such so I may not know.

I think they know where and that he is alive so why aren't they arresting and going to get?

More to the story is all I can guess. But then haven't followed it or read the links. And admit that. Skimmed just now

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – After weeks with no answers, police said they spotted missing 1-year-old Noah Johnson and his mother Kamilah.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says they were both seen at a Walmart on West 133rd Street in Kansas City at 9:45 p.m. Monday.

As a result, a new AMBER Alert was issued in Kansas City, Missouri for little Noah.

She has since been charged with endangering a child.

According to court documents, Johnson took Noah out of Texas Children’s Hospital on Jan. 30 against medical advice.

On Feb. 6., a Texas Department of Family Protective Services caseworker went to Kamilah’s residence for a welfare check on Noah. When she was instructed to get the baby medical attention, Kamilah reportedly refused assistance and told the caseworker to come back with a warrant.

Noah is diagnosed with thyroid issues and congestive heart failure.

The complaint states that since their disappearance, Johnson has not picked up Noah’s medication refills and has not attended multiple follow-up appointments.

The charging documents later go on to say that “without these continued treatments and medication, (Noah’s) condition would certainly result in death in the imminent future.”
