Madeleine Beth McCann (born 12 May 2003) disappeared on the evening of 3 May 2007 from her bed in a holiday apartment at a resort in Praia da Luz, in the Algarve region of Portugal. Her whereabouts remain unknown.[3] The Daily Telegraph described the disappearance as "the most heavily reported missing-person case in modern history".[4]

Madeleine was on holiday from the UK with her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann; her two-year-old twin siblings; and a group of family friends and their children. She and the twins had been left asleep at 20:30 in the ground-floor apartment, while the McCanns and friends dined in a restaurant 55 metres (180 ft) away.[5] The parents checked on the children throughout the evening, until Madeleine's mother discovered she was missing at 22:00.

There's most likely not a "good" reason why they won't.

If there is a reasonable suspicion that a crime has occurred, I think law enforcement would be able to get a court order to obtain the DNA.
Also, they should be able to get HER DNA to compare to the McCann's without issue. It may be another step / process entirely to obtain her parents' DNA to compare it to. I think they're just saying it would be easier if they just compared it to her parents to "prove" she is their daughter.

Polish police have reportedly ruled a woman claim’s out after she said she could possibly be missing British girl, Madeleine McCann.

According to the Gazeta News, police said they ruled out Julia Faustyna’s claims after her family made a statement earlier this week, refuting what she said. The family is said to have also handed over documentation to the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław, including the woman’s birth certificate.


“We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, Faustyna says she will to court to find out the truth, 7 News AU reports. Psychic medium and private investigator Dr. Fia Johansson told the outlet that Faustyna is “not doing this for publicity,” despite her family’s statement claiming that she has aspirations to become a popular singer and model.

This has happened before. There was a guy that impersonated a missing child many years after disappearing. He was convicted for it. Everyone who does this should. Impersonating another person for gain, Misleading an investigation. Something. So that a strong message is sent that it will NOT be tolerated. That there are consequences for causing more pain to families. I don't remember who the guy was impersonating Etan Patz?. I'll try to find it.

And there was a man who got 2 years for impersonating "Timothy Pitzen". "Brian Rini". In 2019. Him saying he was held for years doesn't make sense. Since his mother commited suicide and the vehicle having mud etc. On it seems his mother killed him. Leaving a note saying he's with other people. His story is sad enough, And his family has been through enough. "Rini" got the idea watching 20/20 on Timothy's case. Idiot.
