Lisa was last seen at her home in the 3600 block of North Lister Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri on October 3, 2011. Her mother, Deborah Bradley, put her to bed in her crib with her pacifier, blanket and some toys.

Deborah last saw her daughter at either 6:40 or 10:30 p.m. (Accounts differ.) That evening, she was also caring for the Lisa's two older half-brothers, who were asleep in another room. She later admitted she'd been drinking wine that night and had gotten drunk. She was also taking prescription medication for anxiety.

Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, an electrician, came home from work at approximately 4:00 the next morning and they discovered Lisa was gone. Several lights in the house were on, Lisa's bedroom window was open, the front door was unlocked and three cellular phones were reportedly missing.

Lisa's parents called 911 to report her disappearance shortly at 4:00 a.m. An extensive search of the immediate area turned up no sign of the baby.

Authorities stated Lisa's mother and father were less than cooperative with the investigation, something Deborah and Jeremy denied. They were engaged to be married at the time of Lisa's disappearance, although Deborah was still legally married to another man, and had a six-year-old son by him.

Deborah and her husband had been separated for about four years by 2010, and he was serving in the Army. Her husband stated he didn't believe Deborah would have harmed Lisa or been involved in her disappearance.

Three different witnesses saw a man walking down the road about three miles from Lisa's home at approximately 4:00 a.m. that night, carrying a baby dressed only in a diaper. It's unclear whether the sightings are connected to Lisa's case.

Authorities haven't named any suspects in the child's disappearance. Her parents have stated they believe she was abducted from her home late on October 3 or early on October 4, possibly by a person who wanted to raise a baby. Lisa's case remains unsolved.

Lisa has a birthmark on her right outer thigh. Two of her bottom teeth had erupted by the time of her disappearance, and she had a small bug bite under her left ear. Her nickname is Pumpkin Pie. She was last known to be wearing purple pants and a purple shirt with kittens on it.

We can think that it is so “brazen” for somebody to come into a person’s house and take a child, but most of these creepy people have been sneaking around in people’s homes for years and never got caught, so they are quite brazen about it.
He had been caught in several homes in the very neighborhood. One was about 5 houses up on the same road not long before. He was suspected of many, many more.

I’m in the middle of listening to this one. I also thought it was interesting that jersey’s ex-girlfriend spoke to MK and admitted that they were using a lot of meth at the time. And after hearing her explanation of how she presented to Jersey that she didn’t want to go out with him anymore because she wanted to be with someone to have a baby, that made sense. I didn’t realize she was so much younger than Jersey. she doesn’t think he would’ve taken a baby for her and I have to agree with her. As far as whether he did it? She’s has no idea. She certainly didn’t seem to think he wasn’t capable.
So she wanted a baby. Had one and then got put in prison for neglect of that baby.

Yeah, I'm thinking he very well might have brought her a baby, thinking that might bring her back to him in his meth addled brain.

I still think theft of items were the draw first, but who knows with this group.

What about the missing neighbor's dog? Does anyone think Jersey had anything to do with it? The dog was later found a few miles away.

Something I wish I would have thought out in the beginning when I followed this case was Deborah's timeline. How in the world could she have taken Lisa somewhere in that short timeline with the boys knowing it AND being 3 sheets to the wind? PLUS, MK is now saying she was known to be a good mom. Sounds like she was even a good mom to her step sons.

That's been my entire premise of her not being involved. People want to say she was 3 sheets drunk but last I checked, drunks are neither smart nor stealthy. No way if she was as drunk as some claim she had to have been could she have pulled it off without leaving evidence.

One thing here of people that have actually been down to the river, whether they think she did it or not, she did not dispose of the baby right there. Just because it's close, doesn't mean it has easy access. While we were in drought at the time, the river was flooded due to releasing water way up in SD and had just fell below official flood stage right there a day or so prior. It was still very floody, very brushy and running hard and fast with the banks heavily undercut from the flooding, rushing water. Upstream or downstream, sure, but probably not her if the baby was put in the river.

A man carrying a baby was seen, so wouldn't it be logical to think if she had left or had people over to help, that would have been seen too?

Logic and KISS both tell me it is much more likely the thieving group is involved with the few details we do know.

For some reason I thought only one person saw the man carrying a baby, but so far in the podcast there's been THREE!

At least two that I know of. The sighting by the guy on the motorcycle is another area jersey was known to frequent and easily walkable, especially for those used to getting around on foot. I don't remember a 3rd.

I think they were counting the husband and his wife. Did he tell her to come and look? I'm not sure. It was them, and then the guy on the motorcycle.

With two "separate" reports of a man walking around with a baby, they should have looked more for that man. Too bad people didn't have cameras all around their properties back in the day.

They were too focused on the mom to do that, it seems. Not that they shouldn't have focused on her, but not only on her.

Exactly. They have already pointed that out in the podcast a few times. Even MK admitted that she was doing it and that’s where she learned a big lesson.

This case is where I learned exactly how awful our media is. They flat our lie for clicks and will not edit their errors. Convenient editing also, that makes what people said not what they actually said.

I’ve had that happen to me firsthand a couple of times. Sloppy reporting these days. It seems to be the norm.

One thing that came up in the podcast was somebody said that they had been to the Casey Anthony trial just before Lisa went missing and when Casey was declared not guilty, they felt that the next mom who had a missing child was going to get hit hard publicly. Then came this case. 🙁

That doesn’t make it right by any means, but the way human nature is, it makes sense.

Then came Haleigh Cumming's case...

Hello everyone! Some of you may remember me.

I have linked part 5 below. In this part, Megyn talks with Jersey. I will not have a chance to watch until this evening.

I am so glad Megyn is doing this special. I agree the way she reported on this case is the past was distasteful. Even in this special, the style of reporting was sensational. However, she's talking about Lisa and she is talking about important aspects that are often overlooked in the reporting of this case. She clearly cares and is frustrated there has been no resolution. I like that she urged people to reach out to KCPD.

I am also floored by the revelation that Jersey essentially admitted to Cyndi Short that he was in possession of the phones. Very anxious to see what he says to Megyn about that. It does seem like he was trying to get ahead of any potential evidence that could be recovered if the phones were found.

It is appalling that KCPD has not contacted the parents in over a decade, as Jeremy revealed. Not only are they silent in the media, they are silent with the family.

I will have some more comments when I have time later.

Great to see everyone!
