Lisa was last seen at her home in the 3600 block of North Lister Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri on October 3, 2011. Her mother, Deborah Bradley, put her to bed in her crib with her pacifier, blanket and some toys.

Deborah last saw her daughter at either 6:40 or 10:30 p.m. (Accounts differ.) That evening, she was also caring for the Lisa's two older half-brothers, who were asleep in another room. She later admitted she'd been drinking wine that night and had gotten drunk. She was also taking prescription medication for anxiety.

Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, an electrician, came home from work at approximately 4:00 the next morning and they discovered Lisa was gone. Several lights in the house were on, Lisa's bedroom window was open, the front door was unlocked and three cellular phones were reportedly missing.

Lisa's parents called 911 to report her disappearance shortly at 4:00 a.m. An extensive search of the immediate area turned up no sign of the baby.

Authorities stated Lisa's mother and father were less than cooperative with the investigation, something Deborah and Jeremy denied. They were engaged to be married at the time of Lisa's disappearance, although Deborah was still legally married to another man, and had a six-year-old son by him.

Deborah and her husband had been separated for about four years by 2010, and he was serving in the Army. Her husband stated he didn't believe Deborah would have harmed Lisa or been involved in her disappearance.

Three different witnesses saw a man walking down the road about three miles from Lisa's home at approximately 4:00 a.m. that night, carrying a baby dressed only in a diaper. It's unclear whether the sightings are connected to Lisa's case.

Authorities haven't named any suspects in the child's disappearance. Her parents have stated they believe she was abducted from her home late on October 3 or early on October 4, possibly by a person who wanted to raise a baby. Lisa's case remains unsolved.

Lisa has a birthmark on her right outer thigh. Two of her bottom teeth had erupted by the time of her disappearance, and she had a small bug bite under her left ear. Her nickname is Pumpkin Pie. She was last known to be wearing purple pants and a purple shirt with kittens on it.

Yes. The man walking with a baby that went into the yard that Jersey was taking care of while the owner was out of town, who's yard backs directly up to where the phone call was made to and then both Jersey and the guy that was in that home, both unemployed with no obvious source of income, both take off on a "hunting trip" for a week immediately after.
I didn't know they went on a trip! What would they want with Lisa? Was she sold on the black market, maybe?

dunno but it sure is hinky that of all the times they left town was right then at the same time and both with no sources of income. Last I went out of town, it took $$ and their story was that they went hunting. Well, that costs $$, too. They just all line up too much for me to dismiss, then add their history's of being criminals before and after this.

I would think of them only maybe being involved with the phone theft if it wasn't for the neighbor seeing a man with a baby and then another sighting a couple of miles away.

If someone like that took her, I'd say it would be highly unusual. Babies cry, they need changing, they make noise and need to be fed. They need changing and diapers and they soil their clothing and need clothing.

Then they need to have taken a baby out of the home and have somewhere the baby is going AND connections to who, someone wanting a baby? and a way and time to get the baby from Point A to Point B, get the cash, etc.?

I'm not saying it's impossible but I find it highly unlikely.

When is the last time any of us ran into someone soliciting for a baby, what do they do take a baby and , call a 1-999 number or something or someone solicited them of all people to get them a baby?

Thankfully such is almost unheard of and imo because it's not common at all, especially hiring a loser.

I can't say for sure who did what but I've always found that particular theory very out there.

Revenge would be a more likely motive. Imo IF someone else took her.

Just my opinion though.

It's about unheard of but if such is the case, thank God it's not common. I don't tend to think that's what happened though. Not sure she did it either, but I don't buy into this other theory too much, at least not as to getting and selling a baby without another reason/purpose to the story.

Currently, I’m looking at evidence via dismissing the parents. So if somebody took the baby, I’m trying to figure out why in the world they would do it?

I have to add that this case coming around again right now is hitting home harder than when Lisa first went missing. I have a granddaughter that is nine months old right now.

I wonder which was the after thought if she was taken. Her or the phones. The group of people associated with the phone call are all proven thieves so I'm thinking the phones (or stuff thieves steal, in general) were the target and then something made them feel like taking the baby. Possibly thinking she would wake the others up and get caught? Possibly babbling and reaching out for somebody to take her out of the crib and voila?

I still think more could have been done if the cousin(?) hadn't blasted online immediately about the phones being also taken. I feel that they left that off the pressers on purpose to see if they could track them, but know the thieves knew that and dumped them.

I think I heard on the podcast that the phones weren't even operational because they hadn't been paid. Did I hear that right?

Two out of the three. One was operational.
That's where I couldn't think of what feature they had when not paid. I thought it was you could get calls but not call out but that didn't make sense for the call to Megan's phone. Now I remember that bit and now it all makes sense to how that could happen. It's been a few sleeps since all of this happening :teehee:

I just finished part 2 and John "Jersey" Tanko is featured. He's always been a prime suspect to me no matter what LE has said about him. This video reinforces my opinion.

While only mentioned briefly the "cadaver dog" alert in this case was something that caused me to do a lot of reading about these dogs and their capabilities back when it was released to the public. I found that while these dogs can help LE find evidence, their "alerts" are not reliable enough to be stand alone evidence.

In this video we were reminded that LE did not remove the carpet that the dog alerted on for further testing. They just wanted it out in the media to make it look bad for Deborah.

In part 3 we see that the one operational phone that was taken from the Irwin home was used to call Megan Wright the night Baby Lisa disappeared. Wright was John Tanko's ex girlfriend. So another piece of evidence that tie's to him to this case.

Megyn Kelly talks again to Cindy Short and we find out that she had found Tanko in jail after she stopped representing Deborah. Cindy interviewed him for a total of 10 hours. He admitted to her that he "found" three cell phones the night Lisa disappeared.

Very interesting info.

Yes. No carpet taken after the 17(?) hour search warrant search that also had dogs.

Also one of the previous, original owners of the house did die in it years prior. I have no idea what room though.

I’m in the middle of listening to this one. I also thought it was interesting that jersey’s ex-girlfriend spoke to MK and admitted that they were using a lot of meth at the time. And after hearing her explanation of how she presented to Jersey that she didn’t want to go out with him anymore because she wanted to be with someone to have a baby, that made sense. I didn’t realize she was so much younger than Jersey. she doesn’t think he would’ve taken a baby for her and I have to agree with her. As far as whether he did it? She’s has no idea. She certainly didn’t seem to think he wasn’t capable.

Jersey and crew are still highest on my list too. Thieving and breaking and entering is how they made their living.
We can think that it is so “brazen” for somebody to come into a person’s house and take a child, but most of these creepy people have been sneaking around in people’s homes for years and never got caught, so they are quite brazen about it.
