Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *TRIAL IN PROGRESS*

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

That's a good question. At first instinct I would have said no immediately unless defense but Brennan may try to put him up just to clear some things before it D's turn.

Yep on KR too. This jury should likely not have seen the last trial but her demeanor and behavior and yes getting on TV and such, how she acts to his family and so on (last trial), if I were a juror I know how I'd take her, and her TV sh*t and such will likely be used here. I can't STAND her.

And I know Brennan was a good move and he is prepared to no end.

i really do think the D is gonna call him i can't see them NOT putting him on the stand since he screwed up the case with his antics and shenanigans end the fact he was fired as a result

They will absolutely have to have him testify if they want to bring in any "evidence" he submitted. Then those that didn't watch the 1st trial can witness just how inept he was when he can't answer simple questions about how and when he collected stuff and what he didn't do that is evidence collecting 101 and him self stating how he was the lead for evidence collecting.

Completely agree with you. I have pretty much now learned who was at the party, when they left etc and what Jen Mcabe saw when she left at about 2.30 a.m. didn't see JO then was back again with KR to find him early a.m. - have I got that right? A lot of thanks she got from KR for all that.

She is so obvious to us but hope she is to the jury too. Are they going to stick with he went in the house, got beaten up and attacked by a dog then taken out and dumped by the fire hydrant and covered with snow while his phone stayed in the same place recording his dropping body temperature for 5 hours?

Yeah, at first I thought no with the P but then thought about it a bit more, and not so sure.... P putting him up first can take some of the effect of it off...

I watch someone who is a practicing and FAIR D atty. and he said for the D (and he is one) second time around (trial) never goes well for defense. Their case is known, etc. and D gets like one chance and they had it, now the P is far more prepared and so on and so on.

However, one can't know either, the jury could hang, hard to say, but this trial is not the same as the first and isn't going to be.

Brennan is so up on this case, special prosecutor brought in and he's done his work. Again, watched all the pretrial stuff.

Of course anything could go anyway but the whole D circus is a bit different and Jackson will be lucky if he doesn't get a violation when all over. Imo of course, no one has to agree, and everyone does not agree on this case. Just how it is.

Back to Proctor I think hard to say--once I thought about it for a moment or two... Good question.

He was up in the first one and he admitted to things he had to. I DID watch a lot of that one, just not always in real time. I think Regina thought I didn't but I did. May have been that day or two days later or some such.

Anyhow back to Proctor, I'm not sure what Brennan will do there but he knows his stuff and what he is doing... So not sure... I can't even hazard a guess if he will soften it first or just go on cross if D puts him up by subpoena.

I can say I've listened to some today and I get disgusted by this case at times and I was close to hitting that point... Break now anyhow. LOL.

My one cat would be scratching the heck out of the door frames, benches, probably judge's bench, podium, you name it. LMAO but not. He does it all of the time in here, I have to get after him daily and tell him somehow he is going to pay for the damage, not me. :D

anything. a boston cop in his 40's on the ground injured and unknown cause..... just start looking..... but as @Guess Who said Proctor being in charge..... total problem.... SEARCH THE HOUSE IMMEDIATELY! THERE WAS A GATHERING IN THERE!!! dummy..... perimeter of the property IN ITS ENTIRETY..... inept is right!

now that i think of it my moms female cat Hela has been scratching more than usual hahaha.... the male which is like having an indoor lazy but kitten like black panther lounging around watching the trial hahaha

Yeah, I watched a lot of the first trial. Some here wouldn't even answer me about what the niece and nephew had to say so I went and watched, almost all of it. Certainly not sure all did though.

All I know is well at least it's a thread with debate I guess and active at the moment, but I have seen enough of Brennan and pretrials to be fairly certain he probably has a strategy.

And I've never disagreed that Proctor or LE that does things for themselves don't help but still doesn't tell me KR isn't guilty.

I guess they could tell he had been there some time due to the snowfall. Do we know they didn't go in the house? I guess they must have found his phone that had been under his body.

honestly being a K9 person that's what gets me the most about John's injuries is from all the dog bites and maulings I've experienced and seen.... thats what his arm looks like to me.... plus he looks beat up..... what if she did hit him BUT only minor injured him....he's drunk she's drunk.... she leaves he goes in the house PISSED and then after being in there his mood contributes to something goes south all hell breaks lose guys and dog involved in fight but they didnt mean to kill him....
just a thought outside the box.....sort of
