An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old boy missing from Navajo County, Arizona.

Holbrook police are looking for Kaleb Gardner Smith who disappeared Tuesday morning around 10 a.m. Police say he was last seen near North 8th Avenue and West Erie while on a morning run.

Smith is described as a white male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say Smith may be in the company of an unidentified older white male, possibly between the ages of fifty and sixty five years old with balding hair.

They are believed to be traveling in a Black, 2019 Dodge Charger with Tennessee License plate number 7P7IB1.

Officials say the search for Smith has extended to New Mexico as well as Arizona.




This is the Arizona Department of Public Safety. We have received important information regarding a child abducted in Navajo County. The Holbrook police department are looking for Kaleb Smith, a white 16 year old male, five foot and seven inches tall, weighing one hundred and ten pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The child who was last seen at North 8th Avenue and West Erie and is believed to be in danger. Authorities say that the child may be in the company of an unidentified older white male, possibly between the ages of fifty and sixty five years old with balding hair. They may be traveling in a Black 2019 Dodge Charger with Tennessee License plate number 7 P 7 1 B 1.

Amber Alert issued for Holbrook teen who never returned from run

An Amber Alert was issued in Navajo County for a 16-year-old boy who went missing Tuesday morning.

The victim, Kaleb Gardner Smith, is 5-foot-7, 110 pounds and has brown eyes and hair.

Holbrook police said Kaleb was wearing a red shirt and black shorts when he left to go on a run in the morning. He contacted his family a short time later via messenger and has not been seen at his home or his work since.

He was last seen at North 8th Avenue and West Erie and is believed to be in danger.

Law enforcement says to be on the lookout for a black 2019 Dodge Charger with a Tennessee plate of 7P71B1.

The suspect is an unidentified white man between 50 and 65 years old and is balding.
 
Thank goodness. I started at the top and was just going to remark how unusual this was and then saw he is now safe.
