JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY!* (34 Viewers)

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events
  • April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
  • December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.

It still shocks me though. Daughter was visiting last few days so was discussing it this a.m. She just left so will be catching up on here and be able to listen to the juror thingy now.
Yeah been a week here too aside from cases. Glad you got to see daughter. My daughter was too although not staying over these days, wish it was still that way. Mostly it is where she has to get me somewhere, help me with some things and I really miss when it was more doing things or cooking for her and so on but life has turned for the moment anyhow.

We always too could discuss all these kinds of things but not going on so much now either, all one can do to keep her abreast of my appts, her to find time and so on. I miss the norm.

I am so grateful though my kids (this one in late 30s) turned out thinking for selves and not just accepting what they hear or the standard garbage. She has a hub who is the same. They pick up on things.

I am grateful for things at this age that really matter and that is one that does. A LOT. And she knows how to discuss it, and civilly. A lost art LOL.

Not sure here yet either all that is going on but (and wrong thread really) I'd be worried if I was Iran. And I am GLAD no matter what the reason our people are being removed. This same old does get pretty old though after seeing it for a lifetime. Nothing has ever fixed it as I've said.

I hope you enjoyed days with daughter. I miss my family, miss my mom, my sibs my grandkids. Sick of just hurting and one thing after the other and hate this system up here which maybe is too strong but how I feel at moments. I feel THEY did not help me or this would not have continued to this point.

Enough of that. A bit confusing talking of the war stuff in the Daybell thread. Or I can be easily confused lol.

I was watching one from Nate earlier, haven't finished yet. He had Justin on. I love that they are friendly. I've seen an interview of Brandon with Justin. Have I linked that? I meant to. I haven't overly been looking for stuff as I needed and have been just taking a bit of a break. Haven't watched Read closings yet either. Just not in the mood for it. Been a lot. SOOOO happy both shall be over, at least for now for sure. Happy for the fams even more so.

This is very good and has a variety on it. I'm halfway through. Justin on, then Rachel Smith, now the female officer who has never spoken before. She was involved with one of the calls by Charles about Lori and her mental health issues and then far later responded to the attempted shooting of Brandon and knew pretty quickly the shot was not a BB or paint gun, etc. but a REAL gun. It is interesting.

Disappointing is that Rachel Smith doesn't think Melani is necessarily going to be charged. EVER. She says that what Treena was doing was lawyer speak. She explains it and I hated hearing it as almost all of us thought such would be coming next. She is so good to be so available to Nate and Justin and help us all learn things but it was disappointing to hear all this. But if true, necessary I guess. One upside is there is no statute on it but she didn't see a single reason such will ever happen. Hard to hear. This show runs a gamut. Officer Robb responding to a call from Charles before far later responding for the attempted shooting of Brandon, listening to that is interesting. I don't even know what all is in the last half of it but it's already had three different people, etc. , subjects and so on.

Finished. Well worth it. At the end, Nate has viewers sponding as to how good this case was and what wrapped it and put the nail in Lori's coffin. The last two witnesses were big and the wrap and with some, other things. A long interview with the cop who has never spoken before was very interesting. All good. I'll do it for awhile with new stuff and interviews. I'm over it as far as if family members with channels keep trying to milk it with nothing new and things like that. I'll listen if it is LE, a juror, a prosecutor, etc.

That was a pretty good video. A real variety of things in it.

I watched Officer Robb before I went to bed. Didn’t watch the whole video. I liked seeing what she had to say and her take on it. I’ve known quite a few deputies in our area and what she said about not wanting to stay up on crime cases when you’re off work is so true of most of them! They want to do just about anything but think about crime cases. As for detectives? They probably can’t stop thinking about it. They’re investigating. I’ve known a couple of detectives, too, but not real well.

Entire video is good. Yeah been a week that's for sure. Aside from life even, just managing to keep up with the trials on.

I'd never heard that before but on hearing it, it made perfect sense to me that she did not want to be off duty and do or think of anything crime related. Man does it make sense, wanting to leave work at work. Even though I do and never have anything like her, I use things to diffuse. It's what I use cooking or life vlogs or vacation vlogs, etc. for. Sometimes things are just too serious and for too long. It's also like hearing try to get a carpenter to work on his own house when he gets home lol. Not really funny but makes so much sense. One deals with such all day, they don't need more in their off time.

I thought it was interesting where she did not at first put it together but then did with Charles and Chandler and such. Many of us think Gilbert and Chandler dropped the ball or have at times. It had just a bit of insight on how it is for them. She told Charles how to get an order, etc. What it would take. Their hands were largely tied at least on the call she was on. The moment it came together for her was I thought a good listen. The shooting at Brandon and the former call from Charles, etc.

I don't know how long you listened to her but she got into a bit of an odd thing towards the end. Interesting but very different. It was a varied and good video. I've I'lnot been actively looking for anything, kind of burned out the last few days honestly but ran across so I watched.

I'll watch all eventually I imagine, just not now. I want to hear the after few weeks but more so if it is people involved like this was. When that kind of thing sputters out, I'm done. I don't have interest in even family members trying to analyze or hash it out over and over. I'm sick to death of Lori.

I do want to tell you as I know you like her too that watching it on Linda's channel really was helpful to me. Lol she is so snarky towards Lori and imitating her and such lol. While I like breaks to get away from it, she will be on over most breaks talking. Her fans are fun and it made it a lot easier. At least three days I think I watched there. I think her feed came from Justin's but did not matter. Her lightness made things much better. She was back steadily throughout. She had a few things going on she had to leave for at times but she kept the feed on and chat was still very engaged and all went smoothly. I hope she comes back in fuller force and picks up Jack and Lily's case.

I wondered if you were going to say something about her new interest in life since she’s retired. Yeah it’s not my thing. I would like to know more about these things that officers see that are odd, but I’m not into the paranormal.

That part WAS different. I don't doubt officers see some strange stuff and feel they can't talk of it or share it. I mean they deal with a ton of strange individuals too. I didn't mind it but wasn't gung ho about it and Nate on subjects like that let her go there but didn't really go far with it. An alien such as you not into such?

I wasn't sure if you saw that part, you talked as if you didn't watch all honestly.

I felt her very cop, very honest and serious about this case and how it unfolded and more. That part at the end you are talking of was different. She may wish at some point she hadn't shared it but it seems it may be an interest and something she wants to help with I guess and she is retired now. I almost felt we had towns mixed up and she was from Roswell, not Gilbert, etc.

One can almost tell when Nate is kind of not comfy with the subject matter at times. Seemed to me he agreed or it was planned to go there and he did but not for long.

So you don't believe in Big Foot either? Lol it was not all paranormal.

You know, I can't recall at this point if she said it but I do think she maybe touched on it but there are pilots and such too who think they have seen things that just don't add up and so on. She wasn't so much I didn't feel saying such was true so much as they have somewhere to share it when they felt they could not because of how it sounded.

Of course I didn't expect it either to com up in this interview at all but hey, at least it was not portals and goddesses or whatever.

Colby and Brandon sit down alone and talk a lot of things. It is long but pretty good. The family history comes in, I mean Colby used to have an extended family too. I am guessing since Colby couldn't at first maybe face his mom had done this, they didn't like immediately get together and so on and Colby was so young and all had been so much of her influence. That is a guess by me.

It is long but it was GOOD. Brandon is being a bit available right now after years, I guess since trial is over. Glad to see Colby have some family back. They hint at others in the family. It's pretty down to earth. Like talking how good Charles was but he didn't raise Colby, had other things to do and Colby really did not have a lot of guidance, all sorts of things. Also, how they both kind of watched the other grow up. Colby watching Brandon become a man and Brandon seeing Colby grow up as a young child. I'm glad I watched it.

I watched part of it and I liked it a couple of nights ago. But I just don’t have time to watch the whole thing right now. I may or may not go back to it later, but I thought it was interesting. The parts that I saw.

I think I fell asleep myself and hope to finish. Happens a lot lately. I found it good.

I go a bit back and forth on the LDS and the bit older ones thinking they are counsel or advisors. Brandon is doing as Rex and some others do, trying to be some sage guidance. Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily mean it is a bad thing but I just notice it a lot. That's great if the person really is a good one, it would not be if not so. I'm glad Colby is getting some family back he always knew. One could almost watch Colby process all this over the last many years and I think he has done great but it was certainly a process, and a long one. Cannot imagine.

I did like the comment by Brandon in this one that he was the only one alive to speak for the others. Will always remember that.

It seems as though these two did not necessarily trust the other at first. I do think Colby struggled in facing what his mom did and she's such a liar and player.

I am glad they are coming together.

Pretty cool. Upcoming tomorrow I think. Linda doesn't do a lot of guests or have such like this, interesting she got him for an interview. Going to be a must see imo.

Apparently Lori filed yet another motion saying she should have a new trial in Brandon's her rights were violated, she was sick and forced to come to court and wait for hours with a blanket, could not put forth her exhibits and probably more. It's a lot like her other ones but a new one. With probably more in it.

Justin has a show on it, if one wants to find it, only a small part of the long news show is about her. HTC was also doing one. I watched Justin but didnt' bring the link.

Justin said that actually at some point, she apparently did test positive for some virus and was given antibioitic. On one of the days or some such, not sure.

I hope to heck that does NOT give her a basis. She still could have had the attys. take over, etc.

Knowing her, she purposely went to someone sick as no one was beleiving her sick act she she thought she'd try that.

Just so SICK of her.

Almost as good as her saying she had ineffective counsel.

TRUE.

Late last night I heard the P is trying to get her medical records released. I suppose to argue her motion?? Not sure. I can't recall where I saw it, but it was a reliable source. I mean trial is over so it almost has to be for the motions she is filing to try to get another trial.

I can't figure out why she is making the sink only over Brandon's trial. The last hurrah? Because the judge didn't buy her crap? Who knows with her? She does this yet wants to be back in ID.

She likes being the centre of attention and it gets her out of jail. It's like a vacation for her. I bet it reminds her off the PAP talks she used to give, when everyone was watching her, and the beauty contests. She seeks attention. Worst thing for a narcissist is to be ignored.

Also, it really doesn't make much difference to her as she is already doing life x 3 plus the sentencing still to come on Charles' murder.

Yeah I suppose a narcissist too can't realize when they are a has been and the world has their number. Lol.

I watched Hermasillo with Linda the other night and while a lot of what they talked of I've heard in other interviews he has done now and in the past, it was still worth it and she asked the question she wanted. It is SO clear he has her number and imo that the Ps do and other LE and so on.
