JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY!* (18 Viewers)

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

• April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
• December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
• February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
• February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
• June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
• July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
• August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
• September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
• September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
• September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
• September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
• October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
• October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
• October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
• October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
• Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
• November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
• November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
• December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
• December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
• December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
• January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
• January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

Her reign is OVER other than we may have to hear her at sentencing. A big day. No one believes a word from her in a single trial, etc. Whether she has a defense or represents herself. Different prosecutors, different states, different juries, makes no difference as the evidence is ample.

I gave up. I tried Nate. I tried Linda. I tried Pretty Lies. All of them. I stil haven't seen the actual verdict read. i finally did see the polling of the jury right after. I give up until later, clearly something is up with it. All were doing it. Couldn't get it to load or see it for anything, not that part.

Do you feel better now? I honestly had little doubt and they came down with it about when I'd expect for a well proven case. In short order, a few hours.

Now, some minutes later, there were glitches over the verdict. i gave up, hopefully I will see the actual delivery of the verdict at some point, kind of disappointing.

But the result isn't! What a great result, in all trials now in both states!

Man I hope the judge and the prosecutor have at least a week off, they deserve it after dealing with her. Through two trials now. I hope they have a bottle of scotch or bourbon ready to pour and a place to put the feet up. Or a trip planned but sometimes that's more work, just some real down time.

He days of prancing around the courtroom and pulling her stunts are OVER.

It's a GOOD DAY when it comes to all the tragedies in these cases caused by her and. Waited so long for this, I can't even imagine the families.

She'd now have to find a way out of several different convictions to ever be free which is very unlikely to ever happen. All are safer.

A few weeks of maybe some interviews and such and I truly hope people stop talking about her or these cases. I don't mind some post interviews.

Sentencing is not until 25th July and she moaned about that not being within 30 days. Does that mean she will have to stay in Az until sentencing or will she go back to Idaho till then? That's 43 days/6 weeks away yet.

I'm just going back now. When I landed in here today the verdict was apparently in so didn't read all posts.

This is hilarious. That judge has probably been the one with a headache ever night!

There are NO county appeals courts. Just in closing arguments recently she talked of how she learned the law and such and to lawyer. LOL. She did not learn sh*t. She's a total idiot.

This link is saying the verdict is in and it took 44 mins. Not sure it's accurate but lots of comments. Trying to get confirmation so i will try Nate.

44 minutes? Wow. I could not emphasize enough to you last night how much evidence they had in this trial. I expected a quick guilty verdict to come in today but even I wouldn't have guessed that quickly.

I just think you must have missed a lot or some such because there were TONS of things to put together that made sense. I thought it was almost overwhelming what all they had.

You know before both these last two trials, I was worried if they had enough, as there was only so much we knew about what they had for these cases but in both a lot more came out. I think maybe even more in this one than the one for Charles.

It's a good day. I can only imagine the relief of the families that it is over as is her reign of terror and throwing new things every day. That also will likely bring sheer exhaustion shortly.

I await hearing what this judge has to say to her at sentencing. I think it is going to be deserved and harsh. Yet he will be professional and refined as always but it's not going to be nice.

If it's a guilty verdict, I think Arizona has a strong case against Miss Melani.

I'm ready for this to be over, HOWEVER, LORI IS over. I will be up for watching Melani if such happens. It's been too long coming. She's being investigated for more than one thing, lots, and it was also said Brandon was helping with several investigations.

She was charged you know I think with accessing his bank account to pay her own divorce atty. I think it's still in progress. Not much but she did a lot of sh*t like that too, just like Lori.

There were so many indications in this trial that she's next, I so hope that's true and that she is sweating bullets. If she goes to prison, Is Brandon going to share the kids with Ian? Or move for full custody? Is Ian going to stick around? I can't recall but didn't they have at least one of their own?

And the others like many but just to name the obvious Mel G and Zulema may want to stay clean and keep their heads down, they do keep coming up, and Lori tried to call them to no avail. The P hadn't and she couldn't.

You know I saw a lot of people, well may not a lot but at least a handful throughout these trials starting with the trial of Charles not liking Treena as well as Lindsey Blake, the P in ID. It kind of upset me because it is apples and oranges. Very different cases, very different evidence, a big team in ID, I don't think quite so much here in AZ and she came through with flying colors in both cases. I think they both deserve awards. Honestly. Treena came back on redirect every time with anything Lori tried thinking on her feet with no problem. Heck I could never do that. Even in my best days. And she hit every note in her closing and then on her feet thinking again she hit ever point in rebuttal against what Lori said and slammed her a bit too with just the right notes.

They are both stars in their own states by a long shot. Professional and prepared and committed. And Lindsay Blake never had to deal with Lori representing herself either. Although I am also a fan of hers. Just saying, totally different cases and circumstances. Archibald hardly had anything on the defense side in ID.

I think Treena showed her well for what she is and told the jury not to be fooled, etc. AND the evidence was there. And laid out well. Imo.

Nate said this a few times and I kind of agree, this trial almost seemed like five weeks or something but it's been what, one week? Maybe plus a bit. Can't recall, but not that long. Lori did delay it.

Lol I gather you got a grasp of these people and these convoluted cases and those involved? It's a tough one to come into late. It was hard enough if watching from the beginning to follow the twists and turns that came and the various people involved, either perps or victims and so on.

Hopefully they will work out extending it and someone paying for security and transport. She needs to face her victims and hear them, even if she doesn't listen or process. ALL victims deserve this. She sure wants to get to ID prison. This has been said more than once. Not at all sure why...? Yet at the same time she tried to delay this trial.

I can only guess so long as she could prance around the courtroom and wear street clothes and cause trouble yet to people, like Brandon, and all, it was a treat for her so she wanted to cause that trouble and extend that opporunity.

I've never believed her delusional but I will make one exception. She thinks she is now like a lawyer and learned the law and she ain't learned sh*t. And that's delusional.

I imagine they will keep her in AZ. Seems little sense in the back and forth but hard to say. She should have to face the judge and he victims at sentencing. After the money these two states have spent on these cases, and the importance of them, I am sure one or both can pay to get her to ID prison after sentencing and Maricopa just having to keep her. It would be dumb for either state to make an issue of it and their LE and everyone else has worked together throughout.

Hopefully I will see it somewhere tonight. I just tried it again then too, to no avail. It doesn't seem to be YT as I can bring up other videos if not the verdict, cooking, anything else. It is just the verdict I've had trouble with. I've accepted it, I will try to catch Nate tonight or something. Okay. It finally came up but it was the same as I saw earlier. The feed starts with polling the jury, no delivery of the verdict prior to that. That's been the problem everywhere all day. I appreciate you trying but I've had it. i wasted way too much time on it today. At least I know the verdict, just have not seen it delivered. It's not a big deal but I like to see such delivered. I don't know if you truly are seeing it why that is, maybe as you are in the UK or something. Nate did say they were issues. I expect it will be explained tonight. I am beyond irritated with it.
