JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

Nate is telling HOW he heard of this story, all of everything, pretty darned interesting. Heard about Tammy before the kids even, other things. Never knew this myself.
Yes, that was a good clip last night. I was able to watch. I don’t know who that defense attorney was that he interviewed, but I like that guy! He said that if he was defending a client who was going to testify for themselves and create a fairytale, he wouldn’t let them because it’s illegal.

I was thinking about the Cox family because a question was posed last night on Nate’s live about wanting him to interview summer and ask her more about her involvement in letting Laurie know about Adam and Charles’ plan. That resonated with a lot more people than me. I have to say, at least Summer and her mom (and the rest of the family) now realize that Lori is a murderer, per Adam on his Silver Linings live.

Chad’s family? Nope. They don’t believe their dad is guilty. It boggles my mind.

Ah, that makes sense. Even in the trial, it seemed like Duncan was the one that saved the day.
Yeah, notably Moffat I think was on the witness list but never was used. Lori went at the investigation enough with Duncan and in my opinion he held up well. They really did manage I'd say in this trial to not show it seemed Chandler wasn't even investigating and seemed to accept self defense and he did give some explanations of the time some things took and how they did know something was off but it all coming together took some time and so on. It was probably a wise decision perhaps to not put Moffat up. I was a it surprised to hear Justin say that honestly. I haven't watched as much of him nearly as much as Nate but seen more recently, and very good shows. His exec producer is also very up on the trial and the case. Been pretty impressed.

I think if Summer is ever interviewed, the obvious thing she will say is how she was duped by Lori but I'm not so sure I buy that, I have always struggled with this and the Coxes but of course it kind of became not the focus so much until now again.

I mean I can believe Lori played her family just that Charles was bad and so on but there is also a real question here of the actual plan to murder and if they were part of that. I can't help it. Adam's departure flight info really bothers me. Summer at the pool party the day Charles was killed?? Was Lori going to share the money...? Don't ask me why that crosses my mind but it has... They all seem so much about $$.

In listening to Summer's call again, and there's no doubt she is upset, it even brought me tears, but she keeps telling Lori that if she just told her what happened, she hinted hard she would stand up for her and part of her upset also seemed to be that she nor her mom and dad knew or were included. I guess she could have been trying to elicit a confession and meant only how Lori didn't tell them about the kids but with all this other stuff, I don't know anymore.

Silver Linings isn't popping up for me, so that's all Adam said about it? Or about how they found out about everything?

Per Chad's family, they are probably as messed up in their own way as the Coxes. I tend to disbelieve kids don't know on some deeper level but just won't face it or admit it imo. What do they have to gain with one parent gone and everyone knowing their other one is a murderer I guess. I'm thinking of more than this case with kids who do that. These kids though, at least one, would take it so far as to help and to lie, and that's Emma. Actually putting money to Lori and helping them communicate, your dad with his lover, both of whom conspired to kill your mother? That is SO disrespectful to Tammy!

Did you catch on one of Nate's recent ones that some of his viewers send Lori money for canteen, etc.? What is WRONG with people? I believe it was viewers because he said he was aware of it. She doesn't need to EAT she said, do they recall this? Unbelievable. To a woman who killed her own kids!

So Lori insisted she should be having her speedy trial by May 11th. Judge said this one was scheduled through then, can't have two at same time, said something about didn't see much prejudice as she is already convicted and incarcerated so do I have it clear, he is not going to worry about her speedy trial in the second one....?? He is out of town on some dates, says state has out of town witnesses to call and so on. Anyone else hear this and thoughts? She is insistent on May 11th which makes me thing that's the speedy trial last date, and he is denying it basically. He has a good point though as to not much prejudice. She sure likes to put in a bind with the speedy trial thing.

Adam won't go into detail about what his family thinks, he has only stated all of them know that Lori is a murderer. That's not a question for them and hasn't been since the kids were found on Chad's property.

Why is she so hung up on this speedy trial thing? In that one interview, she talked about how not allowing speedy trials is taking away a defendant's rights - and it sounded like she's been "teaching" women in the prison the same thing. Well, so far it hasn't helped her since her last "speedy trial" gave her life in prison.

He said on the stand I believe that those relationships are starting to get repaired. His with them. I suppose that plays in. I watched one of Megan's earlier. I can go back and forth on her. She left no doubt the family was involved, running interference at least, etc.

I quit though watching Adam and Rex back when too because I just don't know, I didn't feel much was being offered and I didn't like a few things about either at times. Rex can get a bit too like he is some sage know it all and adviser and seems to want to protect the church for one. Adam too just doesnt know all or share all I guess. Something on that order. I really didn't see a point in watching them any longer so I quit. I guess any at first have some things to offer re the family or Lori and so we can to get some insight but then that's it. Now I guess they can talk of the trial though.

Well at least now they think she's a murderer although it's too bad it wasn't until the murder of the kids they probably decided that. They should well know she's a liar too I'd think.

It kind of bothers me sometimes that all of them/so many in the family are doing podcasts and at times I wonder the reason honestly. This will end, then what?
What have they talked of all these last months? I wouldn't know as I haven't watched them at least. Colby has merchandise now. Megan I know was close with them years ago but I wonder at her interest too quite honestly in having a channel. Summer is going to Crime Con and probably the only reason she hasn't done more is because people have wondered about her. Why does an entire family jump online and get channels going? It's just odd to me. It certainly is an easy way to get a bunch of followers since there is such interest in the case, I mean that's why I've watched all.

I had already quit them, I've decided I am probably done with Annie, I just can't take her ways and failure to make her points for an hour each question even. Megan I am going back and forth on and Colby I have been back and forth on. I have gotten something from all of them earlier on but it's fading I think. Once the trials are over and if she can be quieted like Chad I don't see that I'll see a lot of value in watching any of them as none of them offer a thing that I've seen other than getting views due to these tragedies.

Colby did make his grilled cheese once and the other day he had a short on how it has always bugged him the question of whether a hot dog is a sandwich? Lol. Now if he goes to something food related or makes his channel something more at least, I MAY watch. I'm watching now still with some at times just because it is trial related and it isn't over yet.

I'm ready to hang her up when it's over and more than ready for her to shut up and go away. I'd think they all too. But then what's their channel going to be about, any of them....?

They have faithful subscribers, just like any other YouTuber. You never know what they'll do to keep on going. Silver Linings seems to have a "healing" theme to it - for helping people in distress. If they can help people, that's good. Colby is very likeable and who knows what he may find to share with his subscribers. I wish them all well with wherever they land.

Yeah but it did remove the death penalty. I don't know, it is one of those things that puts the court and P under rushed timing to be ready, and that would be right up her alley, CONTROL. I guess it was one thing in her arsenal of the little bit she knew of law and such things that she had in her arsenal lol. She ended up this time looking pretty stupid though as she was the one not ready and late with everything and she did it to herself.

She's a case, that's for sure.

It also did get her and Chad's trials severed. I wonder what in the heck a joint one would have been like?!

Yeah, he seems to do a healing theme too, Colby I mean, and a processing, as does Megan. I guess that's kind of what I mean, it is the thing on all of them and there's not much more to the channels. Imo anyhow. Not really my kind of thing I guess. Annie is different but then she's hard to watch for hours on end.

Megan left LDS so at times she's got some interesting things on that but then too mostly it's all about Lori and the family and HER processing of it and dealing with it.

Oh I don't wish them any ill I just don't see much else they have that I figure I'll stick with some of them at least.

I'd also like to see at least Colby add more and some other type of content. He's got a pretty good sense of humor at times. He also left the LDS. Not saying they should talk about that either but am saying I felt Rex's part at least was really with the church in mind when I was last watching it.

I don't really know my point other than I don't see I guess watching them when this is all over as if the content is only going to be healing and processing, just not for me. And the fact that podcasting is a big thing in this religion I guess is a point too, it was part of the cases and beliefs even. I don't think I've ever seen an entire family jump on and do channels over something like this. No one has to agree, just my opinion. Most people who start new channels are ahead if they now how to jump on when a huge interest crime is going on and start talking of it as everyone at that moment will watch almost anything they can find on it so subscribers and interest comes fast.

Megan is now going on with other people of course, people of note. And I guess one other thing is they aren't all on the same page. Adam was talking of those that were not IN the immediate family circle who talk and I'm sure he meant Megan for one. It's just all odd to me I guess, again, I think I'm trying to talk myself into realizing my point, and I don't know what all my points are.

A lot of people though, not just family, are going to have to find new hot content if all they've hung their hat on is this case. I subscribe to many channels I won't see for months at a time, from what i understand, subscribers alone don't cut it.

Yah, I'm not really finding my points. Sorry. One of those days. I think I came close to them but that's about it lol.

I will say this, I feel sorry for any child or husband of Lori's so I do hope Colby finds his way AND makes his channel into something more than JUST healing one day. He has a life that will not always be darkened by his mom and like I said a good sense of humor when it shows up.

And a hot dog is not a sandwich imo. A hot dog IS A HOT DOG. Your opinion? Lol.

If Lori was my sister, I'd go into hiding.

If Lori was my sister, I'd go into hiding.
Me too. Can't disagree with that. I'd also keep every member of my family away from her and her family and take no chances. People out there are pretty 50/50 on the Summer and their parents thing. Some go all the way to where they were part of the planning of murder, some think they are just dysfucntional and Lori played them, it's pretty darned even imo, opinions in both directions.

Do you mean hiding now or out of fear of her back then by the way? I guess I should clarify that.

Adam and Zak were the new "dark ones" not Summer.

Are there some LDS members still doing the Preparing a People podcasts and AVOW (a voice of warning) stuff? LDS were big on all of that so i just wondered. Gibb and her husband did it as well as Chad and Lori.

No idea. None of my interests would ever have that kind of sh*t coming up to me lol and I haven't been going looking. I know it came out that casting and some other things came from Julie Rowe and then Chad and Lori added their own stuff to her ideas. Is SHE still on? Talk about a serious problem child after $$ with the craziest stuff. Podcasting is a THING though. Do you remember Julie Rowe crashed one of the trials in disguise or some such or tried to? I don't recall if it was Lori's or Chad's... WHY? Concerned things about her would come out or to take people out or what lol but no lol? WEIRDO but knows exactly what she is doing too.

Summer even said "do you want me to shoot him myself?" WHAT! Kresha is saying Summer was A-ok with Charles' intended murder.

I'm torn myself but certainly was leaning that way. It was the kids that upset her. NOT Charles.
