State police searching for missing boy​

Kentucky State Police is searching for a missing child in Breathitt County.

Kentucky State Police Public Affairs Officer Post 13 Trooper Matt Gayheart says KSP responded to a 911 call for a missing child in the Panbowl Branch Road area of Jackson Wednesday morning.

Gayheart says troopers and local search and rescue teams responded to the area and began searching for the missing child, Jayden Spicer, 10.

The preliminary investigation shows that Spicer left his home in the middle of the night and early morning hours.

Spicer was last seen around 9 pm on Tuesday at his home. He was last seen wearing a blue “Sonic the Hedgehog” pajama set.

It is a lonnnnng road so it might be 20 or up to 40 minutes away. It runs along the river, so now I'm wondering if that is where he was actually found. The area looks very much like the area they live at with population and terrain.
 
You know I saw something this morning on the Facebook page about looking at his great grandmother's grave. I kind of brushed it off.

One can't really know if they read a picture right but that pic of him just kills me. He looks like a nervous, unsure boy, hoping to be liked, 12 eagerr, 1/2 unsuer whether to hope. AT least ttjat
is hpw I feel everu time I look at it. Just kills me he did not get caring and love.

How do you even kill a 10 year old? Oh I know it can be done, while sleeping, weapon, etc. just notable is all that he was no toddler.

It said somewhere above she placed him by grandma. Hard to say if true as it probably came from an unverified source.

She looks very far into addiction - as in it isn't a new issue, but chronic. Did they not ever do a check on him to see how he was doing? Did they just ship him off to his mom without ever doing anything to see if he was adapting to his new environment? Was this the actual reason why he was reported missing is that they were inquiring?

I'm having a time figuring out the grandma's name. I wanted to see her obituary.
