AMBER ALERT VIDEO - A doorbell camera captured the moments just before a masked gunman took Jamal White and put him in a White Jeep Renegade SUV around 7pm Friday night near 62nd and Hustis.

I can't stop hearing this little boy screaming for his daddy.

The boy’s aunt tells 12 News four men, all with guns and wearing face masks, abducted the boy. She says his father was nearby at the time of the abduction as they were coming home from the nearby park.

“My brother was able to pull in the driveway and they jumped out right here,” said Simone White. “I’m talking about one person pointing a gun to the window, the other person targeting my nephew. I feel like y’all had enough opportunity to do something to my brother, but he wasn’t the target. It just doesn’t seem like that. My brother wasn’t the target.”

White says the family doesn’t know the men in the white jeep.

I debated then decided to listen. It didn't work for me or perhaps it was taken down, it didn't lead me to the video.

I think I am glad it didn't from what you are saying.

Jamal White was reported first reported critically missing Friday night. An AMBER Alert was officially issued just before midnight, that has now been canceled.

Milwaukee police arrest three men at addresses tied to abduction of 7-year-old boy

Milwaukee police have arrested three men at homes tied to the abduction of 7-year-old Jamal White, who was taken at gunpoint Friday by a masked man, police arrest logs showed on Sunday, June 13.

A 25-year-old was arrested at the home where Jamal was discovered, while police also made arrests of two people at the home from which White was abducted.

The person arrested where White was found, in the 2000 block of N. 39th St., was arrested July 12 at 5:45 p.m. and is in custody for a probation violation.

One of the two people arrested at the home from which White was taken was being held on tentative charges of resisting and obstructing, and the other was being held on a tentative charge of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety. Both are 27 years old.

It was unclear Sunday if the charges were related to the abduction. Police have not released any details since Jamal was found.

Three Men Arrested in Connection with Abduction of 7-Year-Old Jamal White in Milwaukee

One of the suspects, 25-year-old Corey Williams, was arrested at a residence in the 2000 block of North 39th Street, where Jamal was located. Williams was taken into custody at 5:45 p.m. on July 12 and is currently being held for a probation violation, police confirmed.

Additionally, two 27-year-old men were arrested at the home on West Hustis Street, the site of the abduction.

One individual was booked on tentative charges of resisting and obstructing an officer, while the second is being held on a tentative charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety.

Jamal White Jr.’s uncle, Jamel White — the twin brother of the child’s father — has been arrested and booked in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.

According to official records, Jamel White is currently in custody on pending charges.

Authorities have not yet released specific details regarding the nature of the charges or how they may be connected to the abduction case.

Police have not provided further details on the arrests or whether additional suspects are being sought. As of Sunday, formal charges had not been publicly confirmed.

Well, well, well, two of them were in the home that Jamal was at and where he was taken from. I've felt all along that something was wrong in this case and I don't think that's all of it either.

Uncle's charges not related to his kidnapping.

Man charged after firing shots near TMJ4 crew covering kidnapping of 7-year-old

A Milwaukee man faces felony charges after allegedly firing shots at a vehicle while our news crew was covering a child kidnapping incident.

Jamel White, 27, is charged with two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety with use of a dangerous weapon, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday, July 14.

Multiple crews, including TMJ4, who were present at the scene Saturday, July 12, to cover the kidnapping of a 7-year-old child, were forced to take cover, according to the complaint.

Prosecutors say White, who is identified in the complaint as the uncle of the child who was missing, opened fire at a vehicle occupied by a father and his son, who were in the area to help search for the child.

According to the complaint, the two were driving slowly, looking for the home where the child was taken from when prosecutors say White fired on them. The bullets did not hit their vehicle or anyone inside, but did hit a nearby home, which was empty at the time, as well as a tree.

Prosecutors say the man called police to inform them of the shooting and that the two had left out of fear for their safety.

Witnesses told investigators that the family was on high alert due to the kidnapping the day prior, according to the complaint.

After being detained, White allegedly told police that he was just scared for his family and that he hid the gun behind the house, according to the complaint.

Amber alert delay for abducted Milwaukee boy draws criticism of protocols and response time

Milwaukee residents are calling for greater transparency from law enforcement after expressing concerns about what they feel was a delayed issuance of an Amber Alert for 7-year-old Jamal White. The alert was issued nearly five hours after he was reported missing, leading some to question the urgency of the response.

Jamal was reported missing by his family around 7 p.m. on Friday.

On Monday, Milwaukee police informed TMJ4 News Lighthouse Reporter Ryan Jenkins that they requested an Amber Alert from the Department of Justice at approximately 9:22 p.m., following an investigation to gather necessary information.

However, the Amber Alert was not issued until just before midnight, more than two hours after MPD's request.

According to the Department of Justice's website, an Amber Alert can be issued when a child under 17 has been abducted, is in danger of serious injury or death, and there is sufficient descriptive information available to help locate the child.

Carter expressed concern that all criteria had been met: "All of these were met when it was reported when he was taken by gunpoint."

Yeah, in this case, I sure don't understand the delay. It met all the criteria.
