Heni Yolanda Cinto Navarro was publicly reported missing by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department hours after the 10-year-old was last seen Sunday.

Heni was last seen at about 8 a.m., when she left her home near William Hardin Road, the sheriff’s department said. That’s near the intersection of Hard Scrabble Road and Farrow Road.

There was no word if Heni was considered a runaway, or if she was alone when she was last seen. The sheriff’s department did not say if foul play was suspected in Heni’s disappearance.

Family worried, searching for missing 10-year-old girl
The search is on for a 10 year old girl who has been missing for more than 24 hours.

The family of 10-year-old Heni Yolanda Navarro says they heard her go outside around 8 Sunday morning. They weren't too concerned because she likes to play in the yard.

When her uncle got up around 10 a.m. she was nowhere to be seen. That has him and other family members worried and looking for answers.

“I feel sad because I’m worried. I haven’t gone to bed until like four or six in the morning,” said Lyonyl Navarro, Heni’s Uncle.

The family has been frantically hoping she will show up at their home on William Hardin Road in Richland County. Neighbors say deputies were driving up and down the road yesterday searching for the child and asking people if they saw anything. Her family says they don’t know what could've happened.

“I thought she went outside to play. I noticed she wasn’t there so I asked neighbors and then called the police,” said Navarro.

They say the Killian Elementary School fourth grader usually plays in the yard or stays inside watching tv. She doesn't walk the neighborhood, so they’re worried and want her home.

“Because I don’t know where she is. I need to see her,” said Navarro.

Was just trying to watch video at the link and it changed to that she was found safe in another state. Haven't read it yet but here it is.
