An AMBER Alert was issued Wednesday for an 8-year-old girl believed to have been abducted.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Haven Barker, who is believed to be in “grave or immediate danger.”

Charles Estep, 50, is believed to have abducted the girl. He was last seen in Coldspring, in San Jacinto County, driving a black 2015 Honda with a Texas plate number PSY4575.

Amber Alert issued for 8-year-old abducted in Trinity County​

The circumstances of her abduction are unknown; however, the suspect in the abduction has been identified as Charles “Chaz” Estep, the boyfriend of the child’s mother. According to a Facebook post from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, which issued the Amber Alert, the child’s mother, Tamara Barker, may also have been involved in the abduction.

“They are believed to be in a 2-door Honda Accord with Texas License Plate PYS4575. There are no known destinations or direction of travel at this time,” the alert states.

On Wednesday, the Amber Alert was transmitted to cell phone carriers and mistakenly identified Coldspring in San Jacinto County as the location for the abduction.

While the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the search and investigation as the child has ties to the area, Trinity County is where the abduction took place, according to the SJCSO.

Authorities believe an abducted Texas girl may have been taken to Colorado.

Haven Barker, 8, was last seen at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Arneson Lane in Coldspring, Texas, about 63 miles north of Houston, authorities said.

Late Wednesday night, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an Endangered Missing Alert for Haven.

Haven is described as being 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 60 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Authorities believe the child was abducted by Charles Estep, 50, who is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.

Estep is said to have brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities believe the two may still be traveling in a black 2015 Honda Accord with Texas license plate: PYS4575.

Anyone with any information regarding either's whereabouts is asked to contact 911 immediately.
