Interesting! I haven't studied it, just read one article. Is there a main reason that sticks out to you and to how she could have committed suicide by multiple stabbings?
I wouldn't say there's one main reason... As I recall, most all of the wounds were shallow and there were no defensive injuries.
She was alone in the apartment. Her boyfriend found that he was locked out of the apartment and she wouldn't respond to his calls and texts.
Also as I recall, there were known mental health issues and odd behavior the day of- and in the days/weeks leading up to her death.

Chester County DA Continues Family’s Fight for Justice 12 Years Later

The Chester County District Attorney’s office is handling a probe in a harrowing case that is leaving many people scratching their heads. But after 12 years, the family of Ellen Greenberg may finally be getting some closure, writes Michael Ruiz for Fox News.

The 27-year-old teacher was found dead in her Philadelphia kitchen in 2011. Although injuries suggested foul play, her death was labeled a suicide. Greenberg’s family says that there is conflicting evidence between the wounds and her fiancé, Samuel Goldberg’s, account.

The family is filing two lawsuits against Philadelphia officials and an independent investigation is underway. The first one is trying to revise her cause of death to homicide. The second one is a civil suit accusing officials of conspiracy for allegedly covering up a possible homicide.

“Justice for Ellen is what this is all about. Ellen was and is a person, and she has rights as a person. And were gonna fight for those rights,” said her father, Joshua Greenberg.

Philly mayor under scrutiny as city resists push to reinvestigate 'suicide' of woman stabbed 20 times

Ellen Greenberg, a Philadelphia teacher, was found dead in her apartment the morning after a blizzard 12 years ago by her then-fiance. She had 20 stab wounds, including 10 to the back of her head and neck, and was covered in bruises in different states of healing.

Ever since, her parents have been fighting city and state leaders for an explanation.

"It's hard to believe with the amount of facts in the universe that no one can understand where we stand right now," her mother, Sandee Greenberg, told Fox News Digital. "And the politicians, they are unconscionable."

The city medical examiner's office initially ruled her daughter's gruesome death a homicide but then called it a suicide after a meeting with police and prosecutors, according to court filings.

"My daughter was being abused," her father, Dr. Josh Greenberg, told Fox News Digital. "She had injuries on her body consistent with abuse."

It's ludicrous they ruled this a suicide. That's putting it nicely. It is as was said unconscionable they did so. It is also absolutely blatantly obvious they felt they couldn't be touched nor anything done about it. They didn't even go with undetermined, they went with what would close the case out and cause irreparable damage to it and to her loved ones.

It has been awhile but I watched an in depth look at it all but can't recall by who. it may have been Grizzly and we all know how good of a job she does, but unsure if it was her. I am also pretty sure that the show I watched spurred me to read up on it some. However I am either at the point in life or saturation of cases lol that when it has been awhile, I can recall all the pertinent details and no time to read or listen on it this morning but I will to refresh. I do always though on a case remember the conclusions or opinions I came to and when I know that, I know I go by reasons and the reasons were there for my opinion. In spades in this one.

Philly is a sewer and their department corrupt and I'd even say useless. One could spend all day on just discussing that and the politicians. The City is out of control.

It's bad enough they have to fight to even get the right ruling but also realize what they must be going through that without that,, there is no investigation nor anyone charged in her murder.

One could also go with the easy answer that Philly wants to keep its homicide count down and close cases. There is a LOT of that in this country, it isn't about justice, it is about numbers. However, I don't think it is that simple of an answer here. It's outright corrupt and the power out of control in covering for some and hurting other parties and that's what this case is imo.

Kudos to her parents. I hear of this case here and there but they have had to push to even get it known and it still isn'ht that well known as the remarks here show. They continue to do so though. it gets some attention by podcasters etc. and others and then onto the next and then it comes up again, etc. I'm sure because they continue doggedly to try. They are warriors for their daughter and they didn't ask for this.

For those that don't believe such can go on, just think of Murdaugh. It damned well can. And it does.

This was NOT a suicide and they sure didn't have enough reason nor cause to call it one.

It seems traction is getting there and people need to take this one up now on their behalf and make it well known. It is well known to a point but not like some. It needs to be kept coming up as some are or get to. Murdaugh started out very very quiet and look where it ended up. It took some time though. And the cover up WAS ON but a few reporters and some others got a few of the public, the OUTSIDE public noticing and the corrupt ones I believe had to make choices of whether they were willing to try to go that far for Alex and the family now that people outside their own little area were hearing some things... Even then it could have went either way and I'm sure the attempts and influence were at work internally...

This case NEEDS all the public attention it can get.

Welcome Mystery_Sauce.

Hey mods, I am unable to tag lately with the @ symbol. What is up with that? Is it on my end or is everyone experiencing that?

Uh. How is this a suicide?. Stabbed numerous times in the back. In the head. Originally ruled a homicide. There ya go. That's it. Then got together, So to speak, With LE. Then changed to suicide. Seems to me. Someone screwed something up on a big level. And are covering for something. Why else change it to say it was a suicide. When IMO that seems ridiculous. It could be proven by a reenactment that it wasn't possible.

I just saw this and it is three days off and what that tells me is he will likely have good guests, often does, and three days will get it some notice. I doubt I will be able to watch it live but for anyone who can I am linking it.

Let's try to keep this active and help her parents by trying to boost this in the news and pressure what seem to be corrupt Philly officials. The more attention and chatter and likely even viewers of this and everything on it, the better and more pressure I'd think.

They are telling people to where to tweet the Mayor, Governor, Senator, etc.

I can't believe it (but do) when these things go on so blatantly and even now with public being even more aware, they continue to think they can get away with this. As said on this show, her parents are being gaslit. It is outrageous and NO ONE believes this a suicide imo. At the very LEAST, they can't say that or determine such. But they did and do.

Good info and guests on here.

One example is there was supposedly a witness her saw her boyfriend have to break in to get in. In talking to the witness some time later, the witness said he said no such thing and never saw such a thing. LIES. That the medical examiner was presented with things like this that were not true and asked to change her finding and wouldn't. Etc. Even though some of the "facts" the finding was based on were shown to be untrue.
