The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is looking for three people in what they're calling a "bizarre" missing persons case.

The sheriff's office issued a Silver Alert on Tuesday for 76-year-old Jack Grimes. They're also looking for his friend 59-year-old Dwayne Selby.

The two friends were last seen Friday heading to a horse show in Texas but were supposed to be back in Turley on Monday.

Family members say the two men were seen eating at a cafe in Purcell around 6:30 Friday night, but the friend who had their tickets to the horse show in Fort Worth says they never showed up.

They were driving Grimes's 2001 maroon 4-door Ford Taurus with Oklahoma tag ETW-614.

Family members say Selby's mother, 80-year-old Glenda Parton went to search for her son in Turley on Monday night and hasn't been seen since.

Deputies say her car, a red Kia Rio, was found on the side of Highway 75 near 56th Street North on Tuesday afternoon.

The Pryor Creek Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Parton.

The sheriff's office announced Wednesday afternoon that they were looking for a "person of interest" in the case.

They released a photo of a man Parton met with at a local business Monday evening before she went missing.

The man pictured has dark hair and was wearing a camo baseball cap, gray jacket, blue jeans and dark-colored shoes.

A Pryor woman who was last known to be searching for her missing son in the Turley area has now disappeared herself, and deputies are now searching for information about a man who was seen with her, the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office reported.

Pryor Creek police issued a Silver Alert for Glenda "Cookie" Parton, 80, on Wednesday after her vehicle was found abandoned near U.S. 75 and 56th Street North on Tuesday.

She was last seen on Monday searching for her 59-year-old son, Dwayne Selby.

Parton was spotted on surveillance footage Monday evening at a Tulsa-area business with an unknown man, the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Wednesday evening.


Selby and his friend Jack Grimes, 76, also the subject of a Silver Alert, were supposed to return to Tulsa County on Monday after traveling to a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday.

Grimes' family members told detectives he never called to let them know he had arrived in Fort Worth, which was abnormal.

No one has been able to reach either man since Friday. Grimes requires medication to manage his diabetes.

The men were traveling in a maroon 2001 four-door Ford Taurus with Oklahoma license plate ETW-614.

That's my initial instinct as well. But is it just a coincidence that she goes out looking for her son and disappears? Could the POI have knowledge of the disappearance of the other two and want to keep her away? I know this sounds far fetched. But what a coincidence. Especially with a POI! Could an 80 year old woman go out and get lost while looking for her son? Sure. But to have a POI involved, and to have her vehicle abandoned with her not near it? Strange.

Oh believe me I get it. I think you have a clue how I think. I don't believe much in too much odd coincidence in crimes... I am trying to figure how it can all tie together... We would have to know more of the players... The men were headed to a horse show... The missing man was supposedly a ranch hand. Ranch, horses... He was seen with or near the woman... Did he also know/meet the men, send them on a horse show trip... Go with them...? I don't know...

We all know Tulsa isn't a small area. I did a map search and I think the starting point is a few blocks away from (farther from Mohawk Park) 75. Then I mapped to Mohawk Park. Coincidence? Did she know where to look for some (innocent) reason?

So the man was actually with her in her car when they went to a business... I thought the pictures looked somewhat like a grocery store but it was hard to tell. The thought comes that someone had the 80 year old under their control or her son and his friend under his control and told her he would kill them and he forced her to go get money from a bank or ATM? Not unheard of...

I am still very confused by this story and don't have a handle on it either... There seems to be info missing as there always is and it makes it harder to get a picture of what was going on here...

I do too. She was pretty close to where their car was found in the park. They were also seen in a restaurant right but their car was found at the park after that. Just having trouble trying to figure out what exactly was going on here in this case. If there even is a case. I mean as to any perpetrator...

I am baffled by the horse show part in that they were traveling in a Ford Taurus! If they were buying a horse/horses, they would be in a truck and trailer!

Has there been any indication on what TYPE of horse show? I didn't see anything indicating they were looking to buy.
