Tulsa County deputies looking for 'person of interest' in missing trio case​

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is looking for three people in what they're calling a "bizarre" missing persons case.

The sheriff's office issued a Silver Alert on Tuesday for 76-year-old Jack Grimes. They're also looking for his friend 59-year-old Dwayne Selby.

The two friends were last seen Friday heading to a horse show in Texas but were supposed to be back in Turley on Monday.

Family members say the two men were seen eating at a cafe in Purcell around 6:30 Friday night, but the friend who had their tickets to the horse show in Fort Worth says they never showed up.

They were driving Grimes's 2001 maroon 4-door Ford Taurus with Oklahoma tag ETW-614.

Family members say Selby's mother, 80-year-old Glenda Parton went to search for her son in Turley on Monday night and hasn't been seen since.

Deputies say her car, a red Kia Rio, was found on the side of Highway 75 near 56th Street North on Tuesday afternoon.

The Pryor Creek Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Parton.

The sheriff's office announced Wednesday afternoon that they were looking for a "person of interest" in the case.

They released a photo of a man Parton met with at a local business Monday evening before she went missing.

The man pictured has dark hair and was wearing a camo baseball cap, gray jacket, blue jeans and dark-colored shoes.

I'm sorry I took it that way. Today sucks on every level and that isn't your fault. I must be extra sensitive today.

Not a problem. Chances are I said something confusing or did question who he or she was. I am overloaded myself and went on long enough about the fire alarm this morning which was only one piece of this not great day. Today I agree wasn't the best one ever that's for sure.

This IS a crazy case though and I don't thin this arrest has answered my questions yet, that's for sure.

I think today. I probably read it wrong. Pain, Little sleep because of it. Up at 6. Housework that didn't help, Inspection from office, 3 p.m. appointment. And I had to get some groceries and non grocery items after. Got home at 7. So IDK WTH is going on.

My day was not dissimilar by a long shot. Close to the same but add in the fire alarm and some other idiots, etc. and a few different issues than yours but pretty much the same. ********. And yes, no food until late in the day. And couldn't even cook or take time for what I WANTED. Made a Dollar Tree crust pizza but it was pretty darned good. Thick slices/chunks of mozz I put on it, ham, onion, sauce, etc. Unlike me I ate the whole darned thing and then found myself falling asleep a bit later and had to shake myself awake because I had a lot of calls, etc. to take care of yet. Now I'm on that second wind and trying to get some things done yet. Life shouldn't get busier as we get older but it does. At least in my case it has. More bullsh*t all the time. You too, I know you can identify.

On the left is John Goode, the man they arrested. On the right is a "ranch hand" seen with Glenda immediately preceding her disappearance and initially named a POI very early on. (See first page of this thread.)
First quoted post is regarding the unnamed POI early on. Second is, of course, of Goode.



Thoughts? Same guy? I can see a resemblance, but there's only a side profile. The guy on the right appears more Hispanic, but again, could just be the angle? How many people could they have had living in the barn?

Any updates on this crazy case? It's been forever but something at work today made it pop into my head, a couple of customers and wondering the dynamic actually...

So I never think of many if no news but this one came big time to mind today...
