The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is looking for three people in what they're calling a "bizarre" missing persons case.

The sheriff's office issued a Silver Alert on Tuesday for 76-year-old Jack Grimes. They're also looking for his friend 59-year-old Dwayne Selby.

The two friends were last seen Friday heading to a horse show in Texas but were supposed to be back in Turley on Monday.

Family members say the two men were seen eating at a cafe in Purcell around 6:30 Friday night, but the friend who had their tickets to the horse show in Fort Worth says they never showed up.

They were driving Grimes's 2001 maroon 4-door Ford Taurus with Oklahoma tag ETW-614.

Family members say Selby's mother, 80-year-old Glenda Parton went to search for her son in Turley on Monday night and hasn't been seen since.

Deputies say her car, a red Kia Rio, was found on the side of Highway 75 near 56th Street North on Tuesday afternoon.

The Pryor Creek Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Parton.

The sheriff's office announced Wednesday afternoon that they were looking for a "person of interest" in the case.

They released a photo of a man Parton met with at a local business Monday evening before she went missing.

The man pictured has dark hair and was wearing a camo baseball cap, gray jacket, blue jeans and dark-colored shoes.

Well, that's a turn of events. I'm not sure how I can see this happening but I can actually. The liar has to be the ones who said they went to a horse show and the ones that said she went to look for her son, etc. It seems right now a bit doubtful they ever left home on their own as they were found so close to home which I'm not sure I realized about Grimes. They were seen at a diner though weren't they?

I always figured it was likely family or someone close like a hired hand but it is family who would benefit. My other thought was that the other two were responsible for Grimes' death as we never knew them to be dead until now.

It seems MOST likely his will and next of kin is the direction I'd be looking and guessing. And perhaps it was set up for the son and mother to get it all if Grimes died so they had to go too.

No kidding. I'd almost have to think that even though the other two hadn't been found the investigation over what happened almost TWO years ago has been put together big time...? I mean cause of death and knowing they were dead they didn't have for certain until now but they certainly could have been and I think would have been putting everything else together so instead of like most cases where a victim is found dead and then they investigate, in this one they had one already and two years to look into what happened here.

However, I'm not going to judge it as it isn't easy I'm sure to search all and not miss anything but if they were so close to Grimes, I'm surprised they weren't found before now.

It sounds somehow like whoever found them knew it was them....?

I think and hope whoever this is is going to be charged in short order because again they likely have followed the clues for over two years and perhaps were just waiting on hoping to have the other bodies...

I'm still trying to figure this out but I'd have to almost guess all three were ambushed/taken/held at gun point or killed at home and then disposed of. The entire story of the other stuff I'm thinking was false and again go back to who gave the story... Like the one's mom went looking for him... She may have but someone got her there or called her and got her to go there at minimum. More likely that never happened. If anyone gets a chance, I will try to, hope to, but it was a family member wasn't it who offered most of the "facts"?

Yeah I was going to go on about how lax search efforts must have been but then figured that wasn't fair. We also don't know that they were all killed or disposed of at the same time and it doesn't say or does it whether they were on private property or not does it...? Close to home, were they on Grimes' own property...? Vehicle I thought was found elsewhere though...

This is going to fall directly imo on someone who would benefit from their deaths.

Multiple gunsthot wounds to head and neck sounds to me like overkill. Apparently the person wasn't worried about them being heard...? Dismembered? Means he wasn't like killed on the spot but elsewhere and bagged. My guess is right at home. Why do they keep saying he was headed to a horse show? I'm guessing he never got heading anywhere. However, I suppose maybe he was talked into stopping and picking someone up at their home for the show OR someone went with and overtook them both but then where does mom come in, she allegedly went looking for her son later. These things all appear to be lies and either all three were headed SOMEWHERE or to a horse show with SOMEONE or stopped to see SOMEONE OR they never left home. It makes far more sense they never left the property...

They stage the vehicles and don't report it until they have, making up the story about mom going to look for son? And then report it after this is all done?

Was there not some sighting of the men a a cafe? I haven't had time to go back and check.

They keep talking of a POI and not sure if that is wise as the person knows who they are and could well flee, kill themselves, etc. It's one thing to name one which makes it a bit harder for them to flee as the public knows but to state they have one and not name them, well the killer knows but the rest of society doesn't so they'd have free movement with no one being the wiser.

This crime and story never DID make sense and it's pretty clear why now, because the story provided wasn't truth. It NEVER made sense the same killer would have got mom hours after son disappeared and just happened to find her on the road looking for her son, etc.

It DID say the other two were murdered right? I mean it couldn't be a murder/suicide where they took out Grimes and then offed themselves when realizing they weren't going to get away with it? No, I'm sure it said they were murdered too, no time to go look, but pretty positive.

It is the person that would benefit from all their deaths and that, most likely, is a family member.

I'm sorry to be a pain but wasted too much of maybe an hour this morning trying to catch up on many missed posts in cases, etc. and life. Who gave the overall story in this case. Wasn't it a daughter? I can't recall. Anyone have time to check the main source of it all? The story of it all, the horse show, how mom went looking for Selby, etc. Or it was a son. Something like that. i know what I think, just can't recall the details on who specifically. It IS family imo not the hired hand which also was probably put out there by the same person...
