Dodge County authorities search for missing woman; husband in custody

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing woman in rural Clyman and is asking the public to avoid the area and not join in the search.

Family say Crystal Rasch, 37, of rural Clyman, has not been in touch with anyone since June 11.

Rasch’s husband, Zachariah Rasch, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and is being held in the Dodge County Jail on tentative charges of misappropriating personal identification materials. Crystal Rasch filed for divorce in September 2023 and said in court papers her husband had threatened abuse when she previously filed in 2019.

“The search continues in hope that we find Crystal and can return her to her family,” Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt said during a press conference Thursday.

Well, he's done anyway. The physical evidence. Her tooth. Yeah, that's pretty damming.Going back years, there is a record of him being abusive.
He's the dimmest bulb on the tree. Uses her credit card for gloves, drain cleaner, and carpet cleaner. Duh! Nice try with the Miranda rights. You might be dumb. Well, you are dumb. But you understood.
