People/connections are dropping him and disassociating as fast as they can.

Interesting, if true, the teacher said she was found with the singer once before and brought home because she was a minor, I'm sure.

The case of Celeste Rivas is under investigation, and D4vd has not directly responded on any platform after the 15-year-old’s dead body was recovered from the trunk of a car registered in his name.

While the case is yet to be resolved, an internet theory of two Celestes is now grabbing a lot of attention on social media. Notably, a video of the same is trending, which was shared by an individual active under the username of @JoshRPosts on X (formerly Twitter), with a caption that reads:

“#D4vd Why are there 2 Celestes?”
The clip featured the user claiming that Celeste has “two faces”, with one of them being 15 years old, and her name is Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The user continued revealing the alleged details about the “two faces” by saying:

“When her body was found, she had a shhh tattoo on her arm. Through her family’s confirmation, the police learned that she had a boyfriend named David. The second Celeste is 23-year-old Celeste Herrera, who frequently interacts with David on social media.”
The user stated that Herrera’s face reportedly resembles Rivas Hernandez, along with sharing a similar name. The user even claimed that both the Celestes are the same in terms of their “appearance and temperament.”

The user then spoke up on the possible reason behind the coincidence happening based on the identity of Celeste Rivas and referred to D4vd, as he stated:

“One possibility is that he had developed an obsession with the younger Celeste. The photos and tattoos hint at a one sweet relationship, but something terrible happened, and he could never see the younger Celeste again. So he’s searching for the next substitute. The older Celeste’s appearance seems like fate, sending him a stand-in with the same name and similar looks.”
The user questioned the safety of the “older Celeste”, saying that she has allegedly become the next target of D4vd and helps to “blur the public’s perception.”

Celeste Rivas’ family reportedly received a warning before her death

As per NBC 5 Chicago, the identity of the dead body found inside the vehicle was first confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office on September 17, 2025. Notably, the ongoing investigation also led to the cancellation of D4vd’s upcoming performances at different locations.

Celeste Rivas went missing in April last year. However, an insider close to her family opened up about a call allegedly received by Celeste’s mother a few months ago while speaking to The US Sun on September 19, 2025. The source told the outlet:

“I know someone called her mom and said, ‘stop looking for her, she’s fine.’ They told the family to take down the social media posts about her being missing.”
Celeste’s family was looking for her at the time and had even requested the authorities to help them in the matter. However, the call allegedly left the family worried, and they could not figure out anything on the steps they should take.

Meanwhile, Celeste Rivas’ family has not replied to the internet theory of two Celestes that was recently shared on social media

Celeste Rivas: California Girl Likely Died Weeks Before Police Discovered Her in D4vd’s Carhttps://www.crimeonline.com/author/legan/

Celeste Rivas, a California teen found dead inside singer D4vd’s vehicle earlier this month, was likely dead for weeks before police discovered her.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Los Angeles police found her body on September 8, inside a Tesla registered to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.

“We know that the Tesla had been parked at the location from which it was towed for several weeks, so it is very likely Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been dead for several weeks prior to her body being discovered,” LAPD Captain and Commanding Officer Scot M. Williams told People Magazine.

The vehicle had been at the lot for several days before police made the discovery. Police said Celeste’s body had been dismembered, put in a bag and left in the front trunk.

They found her just one day after she turned 15, “severely decomposed,” meaning she likely died at age 14.

D4VD's manager speaks

(NewsNation) — D4vd’s manager has denied knowing anything about teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s disappearance and refuted claims he received an email about her before she died.
Josh Marshall, who manages the R&B singer and is the founder of Mogul Vision, commented on a TikTok, saying he has “zero knowledge of anything” after Hernandez was found dead in the trunk of a Tesla Model X registered to D4vd on Sept. 8.
He confirmed to LA Magazine that he wrote a statement posted under a TikTok video about the case.

“I do feel he has possibly consulted with a lawyer, which is maybe why he didn’t bring Celeste’s name up at all, and he really didn’t say anything else besides a denial of knowing anything,” Los Angeles Magazine contributor Lauren Conlin told NewsNation’s Ashleigh Banfield Monday.
Hernandez had been missing since April 2024, when she was just 13.
“This news is tragic for so many and for her family,” Marshall wrote. “I hope the proper authorities get to the bottom of it soon. Let me remind people a lot of this is speculation and alleged.”
Marshall also denied ever receiving an email from Hernandez’s family after she was reported missing for the final time as a runaway in 2024. The letter was sent by “Adults in Celeste’s life.”

The day after the email was sent, Hernandez returned home.
“He was just, like, ‘No, I never received any email,'” Conlin said. “I have no knowledge.”
Full statement from Josh Marshall:
“This video is false and the person is misinformed. This is the only time I’ll speak on this matter. FOR NOW. This has been a tough time for my family as I am a father of 3 children. I received no emails and I’m no one’s room mate, I live full time at home with my wife and kids. My daughter is 14 and this news is affecting so many lives. I never received any emails. I had zero knowledge of anything and I don’t live in California. Also I work remotely 95% of the time and my job doesn’t require me to have much interaction with any of my clients/David, as there are many others that work with him on a day to day capacity, not me. This news is tragic for so many and for her family. I hope the proper authorities get to the bottom of it soon. Let me remind people a lot of this is speculation and alleged. In the meantime, I am with my family helping them emotionally get through the news of this tragedy. Please report on factual information.”

Celeste Rivas Hernandez died weeks before discovery in D4vd’s Tesla

The Los Angeles Police Department said Sunday that Rivas Hernandez’s body was likely in D4vd’s Tesla weeks before she was found.
D4vd’s Tesla was reported abandoned to authorities Aug. 26.
LAPD Captain and Commanding Officer Scot M. Williams said while there are still questions about her death, “We know for sure that Celeste Rivas Hernandez died and someone placed her body in the front trunk area of David Burke’s (D4vd’s legal name) Tesla.”
Private investigator Steve Fischer obtained the initial complaint report, vehicle impound report and photos of D4vd’s Tesla from when it was declared abandoned.

He told Banfield that neighbors noticed the car had been parked in the same spot for a while.
To be towed from a street where there were no parking restrictions, “It had to be there quite a while,” Fischer added.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s cause of death still undetermined

Hernandez’s cause of death still hasn’t been determined, according to authorities.
“The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not determined a cause or manner of her death, so we don’t know for sure if anyone has any criminal culpability for her death beyond the concealment of her dead body,” Williams said.
Police have yet to charge anyone in her death.

The more i read what the manager has stated, the more I do not believe him. He's basically saying he does nothing for his client and just taking his money for no work. My feeling is that he knows far more than he is letting on with and my sites are on him in this mess...so far.

This case confuses me. Was she missing for weeks, or for over a year?
Seems her family reported her missing over a year ago but it also seems like they knew where she was, for the most part and dead for possibly a few weeks prior to being found. That's how I understand it.

It also seems like she came back for a while and then left again too.

Then there seems to be talk of someone else called Celeste too so it is all a bit (intentionally I think) confusing.

Have the remains been confirmed as hers?

I think too the "other Celeste" is purposely brought up to confuse.

From what I understand she was gone a year but there is evidence she was back or visiting her family during that year on a couple of occasions. That's documented by videos it seems.

Speculation I think it is that her parents knew where she was, who with and were okay with her being there.

I sense that may have been the case myself but do believe it is speculation.

Talking heads are speculating if cause of death can't be found, then an accidental overdose maybe will be claimed (or happened) and that may be a defense. That's such b.s. and has been used many a time when it probably wasn't true.

I hope tox comes back clean and blows that out of the water. However, then it often will be she had an accident or killed herself and I panicked and hid the body...

Hoping they get to a cause, hoping there were witnesses that may talk, and that they find plenty of evidence.

What would speak volumes to me is did D4VD inquire about her absence when he hadn't seen her in a while or not? That would be my answer on his guilt or knowledge of what happened to her.
