Not feeling good about this, but I really hope I'm wrong. Why didn't his parents know exactly what he was doing? Just wondering.

‘No stone unturned’: Massive search for 5-year-old who disappeared while camping

A 5-year-old child has now been missing for 24 hours, and authorities said they are leaving no stone unturned in a massive search effort.

A massive search was launched Monday evening, and after being suspended for the night, resumed Tuesday morning with more than 200 volunteers.

Multiple groups are now searching for the missing boy, and additional resources are on the way, including cadaver dogs and K-9 units.

The search of the area is extensive, authorities aid. The facility has more than 10 miles of trails and a large lake.

Crews on horseback combed the trails and nearby areas, and boaters scoured the lake for signs of the boy.

Officials with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office said there’s nothing to indicate that the child had been abducted, but said they can’t rule anything out.

Deputies said they have a good rapport with the boy’s family, who is assisting with the search.
