
Body of missing 5-year-old boy recovered from lake near campground
The body of 5-year-old Cameron Walters was found Tuesday evening, more than 24 hours after he was reported missing from an Adams County campground.

The search continues Tuesday for a missing boy who was last seen at the Mineral Springs Lake Resort in Adams County, officials said.
Multiple agencies and volunteers have been searching for 5-year-old Cameron Walters for more than 12 hours.
Cameron was last seen around 5 p.m. Monday at the Mineral Springs Family campground near Peebles. They are searching on the campground and along the water.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has issued an endangered missing child alert for Cameron.
The sheriff said the 5-year-old had been swimming and in other places around the campground before disappearing. He said Cameron's family has a camper on the grounds.

'Time is very critical': 5-year-old boy reported missing from campground in Adams County
Authorities are searching for a 5-year-old boy who was reported missing Monday evening.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office said Cameron Walters was reported missing around 5:15 p.m. at the Mineral Springs Campground near Peebles.
Family said he is from Pike County.
Sgt. Mike Estep with the Adams County Sheriff's Office said the search has covered about 50 acres of water and 300 acres of land.
Nothing has been ruled out and investigators are looking at all angles and aspects, Estep said.
He said there is nothing suspicious in the case at this time.
Estep said The Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the FBI are also assisting in the search.
"Time is very critical," Estep said.
